    Qwen Coyle.
Make OC an offer he can't refuse. It is the future of Celtic at stake here.

I cannot believe this. It was a terrible tackle, made no attempt at the ball, took out the man, with 3 mins to go the last thing he should've been doing was giving away a free kick there, letting them run out the game, never mind a red card. The man should NOT be playing in Green and White.

Did you not say Coyle was offered the job but turned us down as he wasn't guaranteed the transfer kitty he wanted - if that's the case why would he join us now?

Sacking the manager doesn't automatically mean that all our problems will suddenly be fixed. Some fans have zero patience.

Mowbray needs to improve, he needs to find a system that compensates for the players deficiencies, sacking him is not the answer - how much would that cost? Compensation for TM, Grant and Venus, compensation for Coyle and his backroom staff (an EPL manager) when we've no money as it how much would be left to get players in?

Ill say it again ,sack the manager now and it will cost a fortune ,then you have to buy OC contract which will be a belter and he will want money to spend ,,where is all this money coming from ,,that ^ there is probaly about 10million quid maybe more ,before you buy a player ,,it is the future of celtic at stake here ,aye your right instant debt .

The team, is not great, but good enough for our league, but we cannot put the ball in the net. We're crying out for another Larsson type player. We were all over them tonight, we were all over Rangers, but we CANNOT but the ball in the net as often as we should for the possession we have.

Definitely a red card, the ball was well ahead of the Hearts player. Purely a cynical tackle from McManus, not something you'd expect from a Celtic player, let alone a captain.

call fox * tonight and its ok but if you were to fault him on any other appearence since he has arrived and it would be out of order. the fact of celtic at the moment is that things are STILL new, let me repeat the word NEW. when TM finds his realistic line up in terms of commitment - it is then we should start judging and booing - but right now we should still welcome TM's changes afterall it is change we were crying for just a couple of months ago. no more boo's i plea!!!

We cant afford to start chopping & changing managers again. We need stability and consolidation, after all, this is a season of transition, and given the woes as Ipox, we should have enough to regain the league title in the process.

Having said that, ultimately it is the manager who is held accountable for the performance of the team, the successes and the failures. He can't keep diverting blame onto his predecessor forever and pointing the finger at individual players and errors. This conduct cannot have had much of a positive effect on the dressing room, despite the 'clear-the-air' talks taking place recently, which would seem to reflect there is an element of discontent throughout the squad. Its time he stands up and accepts responsibility, and not persist with this culture of blame.

I was uncertain as to his appointment, but appreciated the positive manner in which his Hibs & Baggies sides played. Now that he is there, will give him time to turn it around, and continue be supportive.

One thing that he could do, that would be a positive (and indeed a popular) move, at least with the support, would be to re-introduce Neil Lennon to the dugout. We need some mongrel in there, and that is something Neil has in absolute spades. I'm not saying he can fix all the teams woes, but he has the respect of the players and the support, and a step in the right direction.

That would also be a good place to start.

Totally agree. It wasn't what we expect from a Celtic player. He should lose the captaincy for that. Disgraceful.

By the way, Lee Wallace had McGeady in his pocket most of the game. Mogga should have switched him to the right because he was getting nowhere with Wallace.

Apart from the fact that it would cost us a fair amount to sack Mogga, I don't think it would be a good move for the club. Much as I am critical of him he has some great ideas and maybe in the future they will come to fruition. Meanwhile, a good kick up the * is what he needs and told to get on with the job with what he has at his disposal.

When the going gets tough the tough get going and he has to find some consistency in the team and stop slagging them off in public.
If the players are being barracked by the fans and then the manager goes public to say they are crap then they will lose confidence and the club will suffer.
Mogga just needs a wee injection of reality.
It's the SPL we play in, not La Liga. Now start earning your wages.
There will be no big transfer budget in January so get with it and start producing results. You only have to drop a player who is not performing. You don't have to tell everyone they will be getting punted out of the club.
A player dropped will either work harder on his game or he will put in a transfer request. Simple. (Bobo Balde doesn't count:icon_mrgreen:)

There has to be a comlete revamp in January which i hope Mogga realises!

    I would do this:

    Sell:
    Maloney £2 Million
    McManus £1.5 Million (Maximum)
    Caldwell £1.5 Million
    Samaras £3 Million
    Brown £4-5 Million
    Total: £12-13 Million!

    IN:
    Geroge Boyd Peterbourgh £1/£2 Million
Eagles from Burnley £2.5 to £3 Million
    Reo-Coker from Villa £3-£4 Million
    St.Ledger from Preston £2 Million
Van Wolfswinkel (can't remember his club but young and talented from what i have heard) £2.5 Million
    Total: Roughly £13 Million!

Yeah. Sack the manager and change the squad big time. That means we can start allover once again... and when anyone panics because Rome wasn't build on one day we can sack the manager once again, and change the whole squad...

If people wants consistent, then don't call for the halfs team heads. Espacially not in January, where there isn't any break in the fixtures.

Max two other players more than the korean guy, and then give Mogga time to work futher with his squad.

But - that's just me... the guy who can't see the fall of quality under Mowbray. The guy who thinks we're play well, but hurting over lack of finishing. I have said it before and I say it again. A bit of luck in our recent matches, and we would have scored a few goals more and everything would have looked completely different even though the general performance would have been identical. But - that's football. The winner takes it all, the loser none...

Hmmm... how did you figure those valuations out? £1.5m for Caldwell with 6mths left on his contract...no chance. When Maloney left a few years back he was the reigning POTY & YPOTY, as well as being easily a more valuable player than Heid ever will be. He went for £1m. And thats just one of your valuations...

TM has to operate in the real world, not a video game.

I'm almost certain that he was in the last few months of his contract, when he went for £1m.
