All comes back to the simple fact that we arent spending the right amount of money as Mogga keeps saying that will buy quality. We have these lads trying their best(or so he says this is their best) and look what still happens. When a fair bit of money is spent on quality players who can change a game then we can expect a change.

The whole structure to that team is all over the place ,why do Celtic continue to make * teams look good ,and McManus should be showing the door for what he done tonight .

    Wait and see with Fortune.

He was brilliant on the opening day up at Pittodrie, he dragged and spinned defenders everywhere and others reaped the benefits.

He's strong and quick, something which none of the other strikers offer.

I thought Fox played ok, was unlucky for the pen. McGeady was brilliant second half, maybe with McCourt, he did get a little more room, or he was playing through the midle more, and got more succes there.
McCourt did ok, but no where near a full time first teamer at the moment.

I think our centre halfs and our entre forwards are muck. The whole core of the team is wrong.......right through the middle.....McManus, Caldwell, NGuemo, Crosas or Brown, McDonald and Samaras...all are utter *.

Our defenders cannot defend or pass a ball, our midfield are too lightweight and erratic, cannot link up between the defence and the strikers, and our strikers......how the * many chances do we need? How did Samaras and McDonald ever get signed as professional footballers?

Very disapointed, we should have played some of the fringe players/ reserve players, they would ahve shown more passion than the current bunch.

Here's hoping we can pick it up for the weekend, and get back to winning ways!

Formation strikers, defenders, I could go on.

    Formation:
Mowbray sets the team out to defensively, thats okay away from home, in Europe, or if you're 2 or 3 goals up, but not when you're at home and need goals.

    Strikers:
I think you'll figure this one out for yourself, I mean Samaras tonight, 4 or 5 golden opportuiniteies, and not one was scored. I won't be surprised if he's out the door in January.

    Defenders:
Crap central defenders basically, they seemed okay last season I thought though.

and finally, being basically told by your manager that you're * and he wants you all gone isn't going to help, although, thats no excuse.

    Disagree.
Any player worth their salt would buck their * ideas up after a comment like that, if they take the huff, then they can go to * as far as I'm concerned.

Who? The only one I can think of that would have slotted in would be McGinn.

No point changing the defence we've all said we need to get a consistent back 4 working together just now, at least until January.

As I said possibly McGinn in for McGeady but McGeady played better when Maloney went off. Crosas was given his chance and failed to take it.

We have no reserve forwards of note apart for Killen who was played and failed to do a single thing.

one game this season at pittodrie which i watched in spain and we thought we were going to be solid this season, it went down hill from there

Lack of confidence? WGS used to praise the team to the hilt after we lost......so much so we wondered if we were at the same game! TM on the other hand has gone to the other extreme totally slating the team at every opportunity.........saying they lack quality and that he's looking to bring in replacements in January. It's a no brainer really! Which of those players is going to go out there with their whole heart and really bust a gut? I think morale is rock bottom since TM came. I agree a lot of the players aren't good enough but TM needs to show a little more professionalism. That same bunch of crap won 3 titles! Perhaps it is as someone said down to poor man management.

This is how it feels to be Celtic
I just can't understand why Mowbray can't get the team working.
He's had enough time with them and all he seems to do is stare at his shoes.
    Disappointing to say the least.
McManus needs to be dropped as captain. That tackle was just * unforgivable. He should be banned for a month for that. What an example.
The blame still lies with Mowbray. He is the manager and he just isn't doing the job he's paid for.
All his talk of big dreams and flowing football is just *.
This is Scotland, not Spain or Italy. We don't have the cash to bring in ten players in January and when have we ever bought ten players in a transfer window? He has to work with what he has.

As far as I'm concerned Celtic have made a big mistake in bringing him in.
It might even take his sacking to get the team working again.
Drastic action, but I fear he won't win the players over or give them the confidence to go out and win a game or two the longer he stays.

The players need to buck up too, but if your confidence is shattered you'll just go from bad to worse.

that fandan needs to pick a starting 11 from now until january and get them to play as a proper team.
a bad workman blames his tools, when is this man going to have a look at himself?
    * me i hope fortune is on fire when he gets back, he'll need to be to sort this mob out.
this is mostly strachan's team bar a few players and they played better than that pish tonight under wgs.
it's not working mogga, back to the drawing board.

    ps - samaras is *!

I'm not sure whether I agree with TM publicly slating the players, I wouldn't mind if he also held his hands up to his own mistakes.

However after telling the players to fight for their place in the team, if the players take the huff at that then do they really deserve to be paid to play for us when they have no fight or desire?

I agree the same bunch of players did well up until last season, however, even with GS praising them as we all sat shaking our heads in disbelief at his ideas of "playing great" it didn't work as we were still awful and lost the league.

So based on last season and the start of this season, neither method of man management is working, so in both cases maybe it's a lot to do with the mediocrity in the team.

i understand this, but the manager has got most of his tactics wrong every game we have played so far i have been to CP and seen fortune in the flesh and dont think anything special of the big man, n'geumo has still to convince me.as to tonys way of thinking, well mate its not upto much at the minute Fortune was brought into this team by Mowbray, al give him time but TM as had time to gel these * and its not working

i'm fed up with this "mcdonald needs the right partner" nonsense.the guys an embarrassment. had a good 1st season then from then on he's thought he's better than he actually is. he is shocking, so frustrating i dont know how the other players put up with his moaning when he is doing * all. get him to * in january, along with at least 5 others.

not making excuses for samaras shouldve scored the header, but the one that hit the post he was unlucky and the keeper pulled off a good save fae him,at least he got himself into position for those chances if he didnt who would "killen" ?
