Anyone think we needed Brown or Robson? Someone with a bit more fight in the midfield ?

Couldnt disagree with much of that, the spine of the team right through the middle is shocking.

    Just cant get enough
McManus should be ashamed of himself after that disgusting tackle.
No way for the club captain to conduct himself. Reminded me of Broadfoot on Mcgeady a couple of seasons back.
The time to send this guy packing has long past. * player and probably the worst club captain ever

    Negatives:
    No confidence.
    Can't buy a goal!
New manager who is still bedding in!
Cant pass a friggin Ball 10 yards!
    No incisive passing at all!
Strikers........ No sorry we don't have any!
McGready cant see a pass when he can put 439 step overs in and lose the ball!

    Positives:

    Hinkel played well!
    Where not Rangers!

Its going to be a long season, it surely can only get better!

Brown's 2nd touch is a tackle and Robson has no pace although I think he would have done better with the FK's than McGeady & Fox.

did we miss this man ?

this might sound stupid but here go's ,

i actually think we missed scott browns presence tonight and his attitude on the park , scott brown has had a bad start to the season but sometimes the space hearts had in the middle of the park was a disgrace , n i think we missed brown getting in the faces and closing down the ball . crosas n nguemo will let players pass n sit off , nguemo tries but sits off a bit to much.

My opinions on each individual tonight

Zaluska - should have saved what was a terrible penalty, whatever way you look at it. Did okay otherwise, though

Hinkel - probably our best player at the moment. Did well. Couple of poor balls but was always looking to be a threat and defended well
McManus - as mediocre as always and a * stupid sending off, needlessly reckless which resulted in a red card and our momentum (what was left of it) ruined
Caldwell - passing game has gone to pot at this stage, terribly off form. Felt a bit sorry for him though getting booed like that towards the end
Fox - worst game for Celtic so far by a mile. Poor passing, very silly giving away the penalty and generally very poor

McGeady - rubbish. Must have received the ball dozens of times but very rarely offered anything. Wallace had him in his pocket all night
N'Guemo - poor again. Gave away too many sill freekicks, and caught sleeping time and again
Crosas - very poor. Caught in possession countless times, offered nothing
Maloney - no end product. We expect that from him though
McCourt - made an impact but * me, with no left foot and playing on the left he won't get far

Zhi - did all right, but needed a bit more support. Gets pass marks just about
    Killen - offered nothing
McDonald - quiet, didn't do enough
Samaras - donkey. Celebrating that chip before it went it was * embarrassing. Should have had at least a hattrick

Watching celtic these days is like watching a bad horror movie, i'm not confident against any teams we play. Heaven help us over in hamburg, that could be a cricket score. :54:

truth is we have no quality.

if they chances were created and we had the quality to convert them, that would have been an easy win. give mowbray a chance and see what he brings in.

yes gordon strachan did come in and win 3 out of 4 titles. martin o neil didnt exactly leave him the pile of pish that strachan has left mowray though.

give mowbray time to bring in players and then judge the man.

Hinkel and Zhi only pass marks for me. Was keen for crosas to get a run but blew it tonight. We're just seeing the results of mixing poor players with a poor manager

Those saying give TM time what a load of *. Did u guys realise that tonight was our 26th game of the season, yes 26th and our play and results have become progressively worse the longer TM has been in charge to make an influence.

4-5-1 at home against a team that man for man we are better than, sounds like a formation u play away from home against quality op.

Deserved to win, out of luck, u create your own luck and its not how u win its if u win.

TM's ability to inspire is as great as Malta's chances of reaching the world cup. Iv never seen a team continuely come out and play with lack of ergency or energy to the start of each half as we seem to do each match. Only the last 10mins of each game we wake up.

Yes the team isnt good enough but on saying that we are still better than the teams we have played this season with the exception of Hamburg.

Im sick of excuses, and respect people that are accountable for their actions.

    As for his signings tonight
Fox - terrible, gave away goal
Zheng - was missing, ok he can pass, but didnt create or tackle, so what does he do
N,Guemo - Samaras might of looked like a donkey, but N'Guemo wasnt to far off.

and people are putting faith into TM to sign some fantastic players and the quality players we did have are even playing pish.

Watched the game tonight, thought it was a good match, end to end stuff( from an outsiders perspective). Celtic were very unlucky. Samaras got into the positions and seemed unlucky to be honest. McManus and Caldwell are awful lads, the two in the middle were chalk and cheese, one kept winning the ball and giving it away, the other didn't win it but when he received it he passed it about , but with little effect. McGeady seemed to get more space when Paddy played, as Hearts doubled up on McCourt ratehr than Aiden.

Wouldn't be judging Mowbray until he gets the spine of his team in. Gk, full backs and wingers are fine. Mowbray will replace the rest no doubt.
