Great play celtic. Hinkel was superb there... deserved a goal

 

Crosas and zz are plain well but for me hinkel has been really good. Mcgreedy all I can say is improve shots and crosses or pass more often and that's coming from a mcgeady fan

 

i think we have played well there

although hearts have most of the chances

 

why bother posting this, he cant play amazing every game but some games he tears up people, dont know why some people on this board think if you have a bad match get lost, dont want you at celtic il take whatever moneys offered,

the think is when playing hearts they sdefend deep get men behind the ball so its harder for mcgeady to beat a man without coming up against someone else straight after when the game opens up itl be better

McGeady/Hinkel are doing well down the right side..

We havent got many options infront of goal.

 

I like our cob-webbing play a lot, we just need to keep this up, but a little more caution at the back certainly wouldn't hurt.

To be honest, hes the only one who is demanding the ball and the only one wanting to create something, he runs around and his team mates have poor movement in front of him and has to shoot or just go backwards, What can he do ?

 

Think the 1 up front is the only way to facilitate Zhi AND the 2 wingers....

I wonder if Zhi can play a deeper role with say N'Guemo then we can play 2 up front. Hmmm *Strokes chin*

typical * hearts raise there game against us while singing hunns songs * dirty *!!!

we are the only team in this division they play anything decent against if they were playing falkirk they would probly be getn pumped 2-0 by now


us throwing balls into the box is going to do no good we need to pass it through them and the gaps will come,

defensively we have been garbage again, zhi and hinkel have been impressive but the rest better start passing that ball much quicker or it will probly end up like the usual 60% possession wasted on creating little, we need to up it

 

Crosas and N'Guemo is a far more comfortable midfield partnership, better than the others we have been using. They give us a reasonable defensive base, and a platform for the team to attack.

Full-backs have joined in very well, particularly Hinkel. He has got forward so well.

The three guys playing off Killen have been impressive, plenty of energy coming from them and McGeady is giving Hearts problems. His shooting and crossing has been disappointing, but so has Maloneys. I like having Zheng there to run off the main striker, his movement is much more intelligent than Browns is.

Killen has done ok. I don't expect much more than what I've seen. He wins the odd flick-on for us but is a poor player doing his best.

Worrying thing is the amount of chances Hearts have had. We still look a tad sloppy at the back, but hopefully they won't get that in the second half :icon_mrgreen:

Need to move the ball around a bit quicker if we want to cause Hearts problems. We have kept the ball well, but not got in behind often enough. We look good when we play the one-twos and that is the kind of thing I mean.

No he's not.

McGeady cannot beat Lee Wallace and we've no space when he turns inside because Hearts are playing very defensively and then just balloons it over the bar.

If he had intelligence, he's pass earlier and make the ball do the work before Hearts can get back in numbers but he holds onto it trying to do everything to beat one player whilst Hearts setup to handle any cross.

 

eh... hes the only one doing anything, whether its running at them or creating space for someone else. so suck an egg pal.
