The final screen Shows how many games in total he has played for me in all competitions in total (103 Games, 9 Goals & and average rating of 7.18)

He has been outstanding for me last two seasons bar one or two fuckups. I have had him tutored on a many occasions by Nicolas Burdisso, Boumsong, Arzu and even Hinkel at one point worked well for me!

I have just lost my Assistant manager (Ezio Sella) who moved on to be a manager, fair play to him, he was class. So I have just signed Mark Hughes.

right im getting bored of all my games so ive started a new one, again. i plan on doing a mourinho, win the CL and then move on to a new country and team.

started out in germany with bayern and going to move onto a new club and league once ive won the CL. going to see how long it takes me to win every cup, league and CL in all the countries ive loaded: england, france, germany, holland, italy, portugal and spain. hoping to do it in 2 seasons once ive joined a new club as i will have to wait until a job is available in a new country.

Was -3 minutes into finishing one of the most satisfying results of my FM career:

    [IMG] score

Look at the injury time above!

Believe it or not I used these tactics (Ultra defensive, pressing own half only, 3 DM's)

    The stats

Pretty sure FM cheated me there.

Haha, it was actually inspired by Mourinho's Inter, who basically jammed as many hard tacklers between the goal and Barca's attack as possible. Just noticed the successful cross statistic "-" ha!

My favourite thing is that you still put 1 guy up front thinking,

''know what? I reckon I could sneak one here''

In fairness to my lone striker he was just occupying the defenders, giving them something to think about! He actually won 19 out of 26 headers, although successfully played only 5 out of 20 passes - probably because he was so isolated.

The defence was just, as Hunskelper says pure anti-football at it's worst. Was thinking of copying Jose exactly with a deep 4-2-3-1 but I watned even more DM's and an extra CB so 5-3-1-1. Haha.

On another note just pumped Shaktar 2-0 in the Ukraine - Bernardo scored a free-kick from near enough the centre circle! Can't take screenshots of game footage though for some reason. Made a cheeky 1-0 a comfortable 2-0. Bernardo is * class.

Wanting Bernardo in his favoured advanced playmaker role behind the striker so I go 4-3-1-2

Full-backs provide width so it's fairly important that they are half decent. Still not got a good attacking right-back but I'm happy with my LB. I've got 3 really go strikers (Di Santo injured now) and the 4th is nae bad for a targetman.

The 3 CM's always include 1 ball-winner and 2 either side of him are in "Support" roles.

However, if I come up against a team with a 4-3-3 (like Barca) I tend to * my pants and make sure my full-backs don't get too ahead of themselves. In such situations I prefer more defensive full-backs like converted CB's or Van Den Borre is a good solid, experienced right-back for defensive work.

is it 3 flat MF or the middle ball winner a bit deeper? Plus does running your fullbacks the legnth of the park not knacker them, all in all are you conceeding most of your goals in like the last 20 mins or so?

12 games in and im top 3 points clear. Lyon have played 12, drawn 5, lost 1. I'm thinking I can win the league this year.

Both full-backs have good stamina, but I have rotated both positons due to injuries and suspensions so all in all I've had 2 equal players in each position so I've not noticed any problems with getting knackered.

I also normally when I'm in the lead, around 60 minutes in change either of the full-backs to a more defensive player (like a CB type player) and change his role to "defend". I play a possession game (control) and in my mind this simply means I have more possession but in less dangerous areas, which when you're 1-2 goals up is perfect. The fact we can blooter the ball to Di Santo who wins most aeriel challenges also helps.

Nice, im not a fan of the offside tactic in this version though, has burned me a lot, though I do tend to play the Control myself.
