dead boring with man u.. anyone got any suggestions for a team to go with , im starting a new game.
was thinking fiorentina, but they've got too much cash for my liking have they not?
what teams have like a £10m budget??

 

are you able to go internation teams? fancy a go at Ireland

 

just started a game with french ligue 1 relegation battlers Grenoble.

Pretty difficult, limited budget, and not the most talented squad although i have a few decent youngsters.

 

never mind, found out ho to go countries. on the ireland!

 

What contract do people have Jo on at Celtic? He wanted £42,500 a week. I changed my wage structure so I didn't have to offer him key player status, however he wanted £200,000 signing on fee, £9000 goal bonus and £21,000 appearence fee. I offered him about 50k, 7k and 10k but he refused. Chances are he won't want to sign in the future as he said he was very dissapointed and blamed it all on me!
Just signed Diego Renan for £10m. Should I send Fox or Misun out on loan, as Il only need one for cover? Also, has anyone got Cristaldo? Think i signed him for about £750k

 

I'd just sell Fox if i were you. Misun done a great job for me for 2 seasons before Chelsea came in and stole him.

Did you sign Munian? Apparently if you sign him right from the off, you can get him for free. How do you play Salvio? His stats don't seem awesome. He's played well for me recentley upfront

 

Muniain is signed up on the 10.2 patch i think and you can never get him for free. if you approach to sign, you have to pay compensation (€4.3M) as the player is under 24, EU law.

Winger/Attack, physical attributes are weighted higher in the ME, look at his speed and agility, thats a weapon.

He could do with Dirk Kuyt as a tutor but he's still an excellent winger that gets very good.

THat's the formation I've been using in FM for a year or two now, it's fantastic IMO.

 

I have the 4-4-2 that I always use but I developed this since I first bought Salvio and McGeady was a natural AMC

Still have to tweak when I change Crosas/Brown

I use the 4-4-2 in tighter games but 95% of SPL matches, I'll use the above now

What Role/Duty do you choose for your DM/CM/AM I change them to suit the player coming in

Are you still playing wingers or inside forwards??

 

In my last game, my 2 wingers were right footed so I played the LAM as an inside forward, and RAM as a winger. You can get them to swap positions if their attributes allow.

WRT to my DM, MC, AMC... it depends on who's available to play and who my opposition is. Against hard opposition, I'd play the DMC to 'DM role' with 'defend' duty, and CM role as 'ball winning' with 'support' duty.

Other times, I play two DMs, one defensive and one deep lying. It all just depends, especially on the attributes. Often I'd bring on S.Brown to play as a box to box for the last 20 mins, especially if one of my DMs had been carded.

 

Carrying on my Celtic game tonight. Not 100% happy with it atm.

Mid-January and I'm top of the league, still in both domestic cups as well as still being in Europe.

But I think I've drawn too many games in the league, as well as conceding too many goals.

Scoring plenty though, so not too many complaints :icon_mrgreen:

 

Currently playing against Chelsea in the UCL, decided to stand toe to toe, expecting a whooping.

Mandzukic is a talent, ineligible for Europe, but 5 league games played and scored in every one of them so far, scout him but look at his attributes for yerself, the scouts dont rate him that much

 

Been keeping tabs on him actually 'cos I played against Dinamo in the Europa. Looks a good player but I don't know if I want him or not.

being an international manager is *!
need to go a club! any suggestions?

 

Think I might punt MAF at the end of the season anyway, so maybe Super Mario would be a decent replacement.

Depends what type of team you wanna go mate.

 

The problem with being an international manager is that you only have 1 game every 60 days or so, try Genoa or Stuttgart.

 

Try Pavlyuchenko, spurs were dicking him about in the reserves and I got him for 3million, * tears it up in the SPL.
