Slavan Bilic wanted to come and manage celtic, a man who plays exciting and attractive football, and loves to win matches. That is why we picked the manager whos team was 20th in the prem and got relegated, doesnt add up.
    why did we pick him?!?!

Wilson blatantly dived, we can't sit on our high horse over Eduardo then exercise hypocrisy when it's one of our own players. Maloney was caught though, that was a poor decision.

Bilic has no experience of club football, how do we know how he would be at:
-dealing with players on a daily basis, not a few times a year
-spotting talent, dealing in the transfer market
    -dealing with the board etc

International football is different from club football, plus he didn't say he was interested, his agent did, which is often a sign of the agent trying to increase his stock by getting him linked with as many clubs as possible.

All managers love to win matches, are you suggesting TM doesn't like to win?

He has less experience than TM, although WBA were relegated he also won the Championship with them, a league that is a lot stronger than the SPL.

It's not a problem to play free flowing football if you've got the players for it. That's hard to get in here. And until Mowbray can get such players, he should play a system that suits his current roster.

The 2 on Maloney were pens in my opinion. Wilson dived, and not very well in to the bargain.

Yip that's what I thought too, Maloney's first especially was as stonewall as they come.

Celtic, Rangers, Hibs, Hearts, Aberdeen, and Dundee United.
These are teams who could challenge in the Championship, so i highly disagree with that remark

Based on current performances I think we'd be in for a rude awaking in the Championship never mind the other SPL teams.

Didn't he get WBA to the Premiership?

Did you see what he done at Hibs?

Has Bilic not only got experience of been a manger of International level?

As somebody posted earlier, every signing Mowbray has made has improved this team and have responded well to Mowbrays plans. Its not Mowbrays fault that his current squad (apart from new signings) can't play anything other than long ball which they would probably struggle to do now aswell.

He has * to work with THATS the problem, as said previously his signings have improved a poor poor Celtic team.
Mogga is the right man so give the guy a chance not give the guy a few games.

Fox and N'guemo have adapted very well, Fortune when back will hopefully be a threat, i agree with the signings maybe i would have liked to see Bilic manage us. My opinion thats all

I wouldn't say there was much of a gap between Mowbray and Bilic myself but its obviously hard to say one is better than the other because one doesn't manage clubs. I honestly think any manager would struggle to apply an attractive style of football with this current team.

Haven't read the comments, But... Band Wagon and Jumping on Spring to mind. Give Mowbray a chance! It's not his squad yet. Not the defence anyway. Don't think he's happy bot this area himself!

Whats done is done regarding today. If you consider how long it took Walter Smith to build a team capable of matching Celtic's Mowbray deserves a chance.

Look at my post on page 4 anyone who is dis-approving of Mowbray. He is a good manager.

    GIVE HIM TIME

    * we lost a game gawd nobody has died and unless i am wrong we are top of the league !! We are only just into the season and a new regime and we are top of the league and as for today we were the better team but tm cant go and defend for them and i can honestly say after watching it i couldnt believe we had lost but we did and to put things into perspective how many games have we won at ibrox is it one in the last ten or something like that ? We pull ourselves up and we move on and we will win the league and thats all that matters and for any doubters surely the least you can do is wait til the end of the season before gettingt he knives out rather than after every game that doesnt go our way ?

Am pretty sure that WGS wanted new CBs, LBs etc. Remember his weird comments when Loovens signed that made it pretty clear he was far from his first choice. I am pretty convinced by the story that when Rangers didnt make it into the CL last year the plug was pulled on new LBs, CBs strikers etc cause the board thought we could win without them on the cheap. My point is anyway that I am not convinced the board will pay the going rate fees or wages that fast quality CBs command. I think ability and pace is pretty rare in a CB and we would have to be very lucky to get one in our price range. Ditto pacey quality strikers (I liked that Rapid striker but word is he is EPL bound next year). I think although it was not popular, WGS tailored our style to fit the sort of level of players we could afford and IMO punched way above our weight. I think Mowbray has a vision that the purse strings will not stretch to.

Shocking we don't spend what we need. Isn't Desmond a Billionaire?
