I have come to the conclusion that Mowbray just hasn't got it.Today's absymal performance by us against a much weakened Ranger's team just put the tin lid on it for me.He hasn't a clue how to build a defence, and he puts out Captain Calamity McManus the diddy once again. :31:

The gap down the middle of our defence was like the Red Sea parting. :38:

This is the manager who got West Brom fucken relegated and we appoint him to be manager of Celtic. Mowbray did sweet * all with Hibs too and yet we appoint him manager of Celtic.

My choice was Owen Coyle who had just got Burnley promoted and was a manager on the up and up, and yet we went for a manager like Mowbray who was on the down and down.:31:

Mowbray has an appalling European record too 4 defeats, 1 win and 2 draws. Now he has lost his first Old Firm game as well. He makes dodgy substitutions which have wrecked any chance of us rescuing games, like today and against Tel Aviv, Dundee United and Rapid.

For me Mowbray is tactically inept, and hasn't got the guts or footballing intelligence to be Celtic manager.

Yeah that makes sense blame everything on Mowbray, every player the guy has brought in has improved the team how can he be blamed for individual errors of players that he did not sign. The tactics looked sound today to me we had the huns pinned back and we where totally dominant for long periods but there is a lack of quality in the team in certain areas mainly central defense and centre forwards.

We need to give Mowbray time to build a team.

I totally agree, this is the kind of attitude that will get Mowbray the sack before hes had a chance. The fact is he is playing with someone elses team until he gets the chance to build his own, get off his back.

    Just cant get enough
Know it's his own style but dont think his lack of animation on the touchline does him any favours with a lot of fans.
He just stands there and his expression doesn't change no matter what.
I would have loved to see him out the dugout giving Mick and Loovens pelters during that inept first half display

    Get a * grip.

Every player Mowbray has signed so far has looked the part. It isn't his fault he's been left with three clowns posing as defenders and a fickle support that expects the League be won by October.

Give the man time to build his own side and then we'll see. Anyone who thinks he should be judged by October in his first season, when we're sitting top of the * league, is a *.

Shocking thread, yes he made have made some mistakes, but its not his fault that he has been left with a bunch of mediocre players, he can only make the best of what he has got, and he cant be held accountable for all the individual errors that are occurring. Threads like this are shocking, the players he has at his disposal are clearly not good enough and TM knows this himself, he is doing all he can at the moment imo.

Given another transfer window or 2 we will see Mowbrays team start to take shape and Im very positive about this. He has already admitted that the team isnt what good enough basically and its refreshing having the manager being this honest knowing that improvements have to be made and Im happy with that so get of his back.

why do you hate it when people blame the manager.1. he sent our best defender out on loan. 2 . he started an unknown player ahead of samaras which is a kick in the balls.

Wondered how long it would be.........

Look at the team that he was forced to play and has been since he arrived, it's the mediocre dross that stumbled to 3 in a row and then blew the title last year. Strachan and the board have managed to make this the poorest squad since the old board days.

I played against a striker yesterday at amatuer football with a better 1st touch than mcdonought. And at the moment he's seen as our best striker......it's * shameful!!!

Mowbray isn't stupid, u can tell by the things he has said this past week and from his reaction during the game when players who cost 4.4m can play 5 yard passes or when one of those 3 fannies at centre half makes a * of it that he knows mass changes are needed he knows the squad is full of mediocre players. Unfortunatly we can't do anything till January.

Everyone of his signings have looked good and if he is gonna continue in this vein then it will come good.

As for being tactically inept.....I hope the irony isn't lost on you Dr Venglos.

Away and get a grip of reality ya brainless *:31:

That unknown player was our best performer in the first half imo and if he continues like that, will be in the first team in no time...

No need for that kind of comment.
Obviously early days for Mowbray but his start has been questionable to say the least imo

Calling for the managers head 2 months into the season when we're top of the league and wanting it to go to a guy with 2 years experience and who's away record in premiership is lost 3-0, 4-0 and 5-0 doesn't suggest to you that he's a brainless *?

The Owen Coyle chat is completely pointless- he 's not our manager so who gives a * what he does.
Got no problem with Mowbray being questioned though. No need to call for his head but he's not convinced me as yet that he's up to managing a club as big as ours
