maloney was takeing off so he didnt tke anymore freekicks....they are alway * poor, anyway im not too bothered with that its why the * our strikers cant read the line, always beeing caught offside and killens hand ball stopped the ball going through to mcdonald......i must admit im not looking forward to sunday, mgeady looked *,brown well was just brown, ngemo will probaly be out his depth we should play robbo, mcmanus pish again caldwell was ok,wilson did well and so did fox, sammy was just sammy AGAIN,but what other option do we have???????we played well in the 2nd half but mostly it was down to rapids mistakes

For the most part we played well. The subs did baffle me, as I was looking for Brown to be hooked for Crosas....dissappointed he didn't get on. Maloney had a blinder as did Nguemo, and neither should have been subbed.
Overall though, we did play well, and when we get the win on Sunday, it will be all good. I am liking the style of play, it will be good enough to win the SPL, and with a couple of additions, it will be good enough to compete in Europe.
Give TM a chance to build his team, we gave WGS plently of time.

Hail Hail

Yeah wasn't our best performance today, too many mistakes and losses of possession but I won't complain.

We now need to win at home to Hamburg, then get a point away to them and follow that up with a win at home to Hapoel - then we'll probably need something (probably a point) in Vienna to get through. Doable but would take a mammoth effort now.

true, although i think we improved some in the second half.
of course, celtic was dangerous and pressured us early on in the second half, but from minute 60 or so, i really didn´t feel very nervous anymore. some long balls from celtic but nothing really dangerous - of course, goals from set pieces can always happen.

honestly, i was sitting in front of tv and had to say my mantra "even if we lose it´s ok, even if we lose it´s ok" - simply because i didn´t want my "hey, we are through here"-feeling to take over :icon_mrgreen:

Every city have their Rangers. In our case they are „Austria Vienna“, our violets….<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

we should be able to go to Hamburg and get a win,,that would change the mood and then make the difference on how we qualify,,,,one away win,,one away draw and by winning our home games that should ease us into the next phase...but we are toothless up front and hopeless at the back. We have to get stronger and more reliable,,weak passing drives me up the wall.

we looked fairly ordinary 2nyt.. mowbary seems to be finding it difficult in european football.. mcgeady found it tough goin but he is just bak from injury. but how some people can have dig at n'guemo tonight is beyond me. he did all the dirty work and was continually fouled but he didnt greet and just got up and done his thing. N'guemo was imense and maloney was a lot better tonight. i think we need consistency in the starting 11. i hope caddis gets a chance also. fed up wif folk sayn he isnt experienced enough

Not long back myself, was a so so game and tbh we should have won 4-1 overall but just bad * luck (cleared off line, post, offside, losing a stupid goal within 2 minutes) but them's the breaks. Something seriously needs to be done about Caldwell though, crapping myself every time he gets near the ball. On the other hand N'Guemo was a monster today, easily MOTM

Hats off for the banners, especially the mock up of their badge and the simple 'UNFORGIVEN' one next to it.

PS - Does anyone who was there know what their banner was all about (the 'dae ye huv any Whiskey left' one?)

:50:Aye well done the banners lad's top class stuff , there fans are nuts was all good banter tho , Tonight just proved we still badly need to invest in the squad the bench tonight was * poor , we badly lack any real cutting edge in the centre of the park ,

Mc Manus and Heid are like dumb and dumber both pish i duno who's worse but these guys are a joke , One cant play a simple * pass and the other thinks he is the best defender in the world and can ping 60/70 yards to nae * , then shout and bawl his heed aff like a brat blaming every one esle and point his finger ,

Delighted to see wee Maloney back to his best tonight great wee player he needs to finnish tho , Mc Geady was poor i no he wasnt meant to be fully fit , but that still doesnt matter when he wants to take on his man nostop and have no final prodcut ,

Pass marks going to , Boruc, Landry ,Fox,Maloney ,
