Oh dear ghirl, this is he question of all questions.
    :icon_mrgreen:

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p>Our supporters ALWAYS accompany our club wherever they play. There were lots of us travelling to a place as exotic as <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Albania</st1:place></st1:country-region> not too long ago! As Wikav put very correctly there will be about 2,500 or so travelling to <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Glasgow</st1:City></st1:place>. I hear there are 8 chartered planes on the way! Unfortunately without poor me…
    :87:

<o:p>But multiply the crowd by 20 (plus 1) and you will get the attendance in <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Vienna</st1:place></st1:City> on 17 December: 50,000 squallers plus little old me.

Sounds like Vienna's fans are almost as good as our lot - not bad going.

In my opinion our two clubs’ fans are much more alike than most people like to hear… And we got huns too: Austria Vienna<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

That's what I have been saying for a long time: We need a larger stadium!!!

Was enlarged for Euro 2008 last year (65,000 or so), but then changed back to normal by rebuilding that silly race tack. Maximum capacity now 50,000. A disrace!!!:31:

Well Martin if you're going to be at the game you should find yourself a group of Celtic fans and have a pint with them. They'll be the nicest people you'll ever meet.

Good idea! Why not? Just let's keep in touch on this site and we will be able to arrange something. I can pick a good place for both beer and food

yes, our fans are usually singing their hearts out! Must be typical for green and white supporters...
    :icon_mrgreen:

I tell you, that finished Hamburg in Vienna and that's the reason we beat them 3-0!

At CP 'Bottle'-Rudi Weinhofer was brought on for him, and at OT he scored the winner and got his balls kicked by a Celtic, ahm, supporter.

he did what he was paid for and scored the goal at Old Trafford. After the final whistle he was physically insulted, you can see it towards the end of this clip - Peter Pacult was te player with number 11:

YouTube - Celtic fans attack Rapid Vienna 1984 at Old Trafford Manchester

Also our goalkeeper was attacked on the pitch - during the game. Where was the police then????

i think by now everybody concerned with one of the teams knows quite well about 1984...

personally i don´t think it makes much sense to rant against a player because he scored a goal against your team 25 years ago, but then - it´s football, not much sense there anyway from an objective/ignorant point of view :icon_mrgreen:

might be a good thing for Pacult in fact, since he is still not very popular among some hardcore Rapid fans (despite his success). maybe booing him forces a reaction from the Rapid fans there to rally behind Pacult for the first time.

Anyway let's hope for a good and fair game with Rapid snatching at least one point.

    Hinkel McManus Loovens Fox

    McGeady N'Guemo Brown Maloney

    McCourt

    Samaras

see how McCourt does off a striker instead of out wide. and it lets me drop McDonald as he is * :50:
