I know this thread will be mostly dominated with nakas FK at CP and John Collins against the dark side

Barry Robson's at Pittodrie was good too. His first touch of a ball as a Celtic player and he scored. Doubt there's many people out there who've done that.

davie provan against dundee utd in the 100th scottish cup. and archie macphersons commentary made it all the more special.
as provan lined it up archie said.
"only once before in the history of the scottish cup has a goal been scored directly from a free kick........is this a bit of history...."
at that provan stepped up and curled it into the top corner......CLASS.

 

The FK from Collins when there was no Celtic fans at Ibrox and they were slienced ???:icon_mrgreen:

Has to be Naka at Parkhead. Remember turning to my dad before and saying I thought it was too far out for a shot. Glad I was mistaken. Unbelievable.

Naka's at CP vs Man U was class. Remeber rushing back from downstairs as he placed it, got in m y seat just in time then fun times were had by all

 

My favourite or favourites were what Henrik & Petrov used to do, member Larsson used to lay it off then Petrov would smash it in? I member him scoring them against Juve, Aberdeen & Dundee, I liked them, Also like Larsson's curler against Dunfermline in the Treble winning season, & of course Naka's is up there, his first against Motherwell was special but the 2 against Man United are obvious stand outs, I duno I think we have been quite lucky with Free Kick takers, Lubo scored a few special 1s aswel, the 1 against Motherwell in the 01-02 season was good (Not long watched the DVD thats how I member that 1 :icon_mrgreen

But if I had to pick 1 then ye, Naka's at Old Trafford, the 1 at Celtic Park was special, but to do that at Old Trafford & leave Van Der Saar standing there to admire it was sheer class

 

Has to be Naka's goal against United, top class.

 

I think it was Thompson, under the wall against Liverpool. Not the best, just one of my favs.:icon_mrgreen:

Davie Provan against the arabs in 100th scottish cup final,nakas was class but i didny see it in the flesh so i'm no going with it.

Provan v Dundee Utd 1985 100th Scottish cup final - it was sublime and it set us up for the cup. the winner was a peach too when big Roy thumped, and i mean thumped, the cross over and McGarvey chucked himself at it and it nearly took his head off and flew into the net

I was under one of the floodlight pylons that day and there was a guy who climbed up it.
