I said it at the time after Strachan left, that I thought Owen Coyle was the right man for the job because I just didn't rate Mowbray at all TBH. After all this was the guy who had just got his team West Brom relegated playing attacking football, but with not a clue in the world in how to set out a team defensively.

Mowbray to me lacks passion and drive and you can see it by his negative body language on the touchlines. He does not inspire the team or the support and I just think we picked a second or third choice manager for the job.

It should have been Owen Coyle !!!

Your always jumping to conclusions after one match

Owen Coyle is no better than Mowbray. He's signed players from Hamilton, Dundee and Hibs to play in the Premiership???????????????

Agree with most of your points bout Mowbray but dont see any point in comparing him to Owen Coyle

    Doctor,

Not too sure about Coyle. I think he will be back down next season. Same for Martinez at Wigan.

That's the quality of manager our board look for.

    Pay peanuts.........?

Mowbary is doing the best he can on his budget, he wasnt my numer one choice but ffs let him finish the year out.

I believe * win us the league and if he does i dont care how his european record spells. remember this is his first time competing at a top european level.

    The tactics were wrong tonight.

    The performance was atrocious tonight.

Everyone connected with that result should be ashamed of themselves.

Nothing about tonight can be defended, there was no passion, hope, heart, soul and worst of all effort.

However, 9 competitive games into his managerial career is not the time to judge Mowbray, yes he deserves to be criticised for the decisions taken recently but for people to be calling for his head after 9 competitive games is a farce.

dont mean to be complementing mowbary on tonight, it was a * joke but people calling for his head need a reality check, is he not entitled to a season?

jesus look at strachans start and what did he follow wth? Whether people liked it or not it was SUCCESS
