I understand why people boo at the exact moment the final whistle blows. It's just frustration that we haven't won. I feel it myself. But when you sit down and think about it for a couple of hours you realise that these things happen and we will fight another day.

I still feel confident we're winning the league this year. I think we should all feel confident about that. :50:

Everything !!! absolutely Everything celtic does or plans to do depends on what those financial statments say each year.
But your not intrested in them.....how do you expect anyone to listen to you otherwise....:97:

How can you debate a point and yet know nothing about it....:97:

if you want to boo then boo! fans pay the money for to go and watch the team !
and some fans struggle to get that money also ! so i think some people tend to forget this. anyway we drew!! so what? so did the huns and like i said in another thread not the end of the world as there was nothing gained nor lost.

Oh so because we have a bigger turnover and expenditure, we have the * given right to win a football match? I thought it was a sport where on any given day, everyone has a chance and its not pre-determined by other factors like money?

My point is about us not been able to compete for players that would be clearly better than what the likes of Dundee Utd have. Before 2005 we were able to sign a higher calibre of player because we could compete in the international player market. Now other clubs, smaller clubs have better hands because of their TV MONEY and that has allowed the rest of the SPL to catch up with us because we are looking around the fringes like they are.

Just because we have players earning significantly more money doesnt make them that much better. We are paying those wages because they are good enough to get that if not better in other leagues. Our attraction as a club competing in Europe, 60,000 stadium and world class training facilities is what is swinging a players decision in our favour. Wake up and smell that coffee!

We loose a striker to injury, a first choice winger to suspension and people believed we would still steam roll Dundee United. There's arrogance for ya!

On the day we werent good enough to win but they were good enough to get a draw.

    Understand better now?

Exactly it happend all of last season as well surely to * that should give the players the boost to get out there and get the 3 points no matter what, by all accounts we should be beating teams like dundee utd at home considering they are operating on a budget not even half as much as ours!!! anno teams are going to come and get points every now and again but seeing rangers drop points SHOULD GIVE OUR PLAYERS THE BOOT UP THE * AND GET the points!!!!

The basic rate of tax in the UK is 20%. You have to earn over £37400 (after personal allowances of £6475) before tax is paid at 40%.

Even if the 50% rate is introduced, I've no doubt that Agents, clubs and players will find a way round it by giving them "interest-free loans" instead of wages.

It's a marathon, not a sprint. We'll win far more games than we'll draw.

Do you think the government would let them away with it? The laws will change as these tactics are already known. They'll make it very hard to evade what they are suppose to pay. Even the work they'd have to put into evading tax would put them off when they can go to Spain and pay 25% guilt free and not worry if they are going to get stung for tax evasion because their accountant wasnt as good as he/she let on.

i think that they would speak with the government 1st to see if they can sort something out with regards to this i think! it is more than likely that they will find something somewhere to evade this maybe?

Eh? No they wont! The government want whats due and it will be upto the footballer to exploit tax loopholes or pay their dues. If they * up, i.e. greedy, and try to exploit these loopholes more than they should then they should be up in the dock like everyone else that pays their taxes. * em!
