Mark Viduka is available on a free.

I think he would be good experienced cover for us upfront for at least a year.

    Ability wise - Yes.
    Injury wise - No.

After the way he treated us the last time - Not a chance in *!

    Leave well alone I say.

Same position as JVoH at this juncture... don't see the point in it.

that sorry excuse for a "professional" footballer should never be allowed within 50 miles of Celtic ever again, any player that refuses to come out for the second half can rot in the footballing wilderness as far as I'm concerned.

He used to turn out for the Celts
If he comes back, he'll get his welts
Cos truth be told he was a lazy fooka

    A part-time plank
    Whose outlook stank
    Who moaned the whole way
    To the bank
Aw naw, don't say we've signed that * Viduka

    No Viduka
    No Viduka
    etc

    Sorry Mark. Bless. :icon_mrgreen:

'm an Aussie, and the only reason he hasn't hung up his boots is the prospect of the World Cup next year. Knowing the way the Aussies are set up, with one up front, he reckons he is a chance. Quite simply, not good enough, not for Australia, and certainly not Celtic class anymore. Yeah, he might still have a nice 1st touch, but has a turning circle of a mack truck. Even at his best, when he was hot, he could be red hot, but when he was not, he was REALLY not ! And can anyone remember the last time he was?

Then there is the money... he might be a free agent, bur did anyone see the wages he was on at Leeds, Middlesborough and Newcastle? He'd still expect to be paid a mint, and is he worth it? No thanks

And dont forget, he treated Celtic pretty shabbily when he was with us 10 years ago, and he couldn't wait to get out the door.

Any of these reasons alone would suffice as a valid reason not to want him back. Add them together... not a snowballs chance in * !

well in the well known tradition of free speech on T.C
here for what its worth is my opinion on viduka.
hes a coward who couldnt even face up to his
professional duties that bleak wed night
i would not let him even watch a celtic game again
never mind pull the shirt on.
