This is how it feels to be Celtic
We also have to take into account that no CL money will be coming our way this season and we are depending on a good run in the Europa League to boost our funds for next season.
Lawwell has to look at the future of the club for the next couple of seasons. If he says 'Just splash out' then he's not doing his job and he would take flak for that too.

A understand that henke a lot of fans are just * off because the hunns are skint and not spending and by us spending 3-5 million we could have really * all over them but the money men seem to want to stay as close to rangers as they can when by going out last january we could have buried them completely and went on to win a right good wad of titles in a row but we let them back into it by not signing a striker who could score a few goals>>> jvgoh was missing complete sitters as was sammy and even skippy wasnt at his best.

We must rake in a fortune in shirt sales season ticket sales, club merchendise etc far more than our city rivals thats for sure and we have spent est 7 million and got a handful of high earners off the wage bill so we look as though we have took a gamble but the plus points are the teams playing well there hungry the manager has got every 1,s backing and there trying there best but we should have strenghend to help them coz there,s a lot of games coming up but anyways.

WERE STILL BETTER THAN RANGERS :icon_mrgreen::icon_mrgreen::icon_mrgreen:

stopped reading after this. the guys hit it perfectly, and anyone that disagree's with him really cant have the slightest clue about celtic.
i remember a time when we were lucky to spend over £3million in a transfer window. its only in recent years that the board have been giving more money to be spent, and what has that brought us ..? some big overall failure's imho that never lived up to their hype, their price tag, their reputation, and their wage bills

hardly delusional, all we ever hear is oh were the biggest club this and were a massive club that, and the mediocre players saying stuff like oh its great to sign for a big club like celtic

20m is buttons compared to even what the bottom ten premiership teams spend

you have to speculate to accumulate, if we dont spend we will never reap the european financial rewards

Are you joking? The player we've been crying out for is an attacking centre mid with an eye for a pass and a goal threat.

A lot of people will be surprised with this guy, he's not a Charlton reject as the folk that have never seen him play would suggest he is a quality footballer I can assure you.

We arent in the premier league, they get over £20M per season for being in the EPL. What do we get in TV money for playing the SPL and the group stage of the UCL combined? Not even £10M and somehow we are suppose to be able to spend like Man City!!

He'll without a doubt provide something different.

Wait 'til you see him first, you'll be surprised by the sounds of things :50: He's someone I actually suggested we should buy on here last summer, I've seen him a number of times and thought he'd end up in the Premiership which a quick google suggests there were interested parties.

If we had money we would spend it, some of you forget we're only a Scottish team from the SPL. Yous spend too much time talking about football than enjoying the matches.

We do need an attacking midfielder, and neither Mizuno, or I presume in your phonetic pronunciation you were referring to McGinn, are central midfielders.

Thank * you don't pick the team.
