I think, having read posts and watched the incidents again, that it is a matter of claiming for free kicks or penalties when players go down.

There was contact on Mcgeady and the Hibs lad didn't get the ball. I am sure we would all like to think if there was anyway of staying on his feet and taking his man on he would have done that.

The referee didn't think that.

Are people on here convinced that he dived ? I am not so sure, but having got the win and all thats gone in the past week it isn't exactly the best time for us to start debating what is and what isn't a dive from a celtic point of view.

and Nade dived in the box allegedly today and got booked.

 

you should read half the posts about mcgeady after any game, the * that gets spoken about him on here is embarrasing at times. IMO there is a lot of people on here who havent forgiven him for getting lippy wi strachan. even after the aberdeen game the usual folk were on here given him pelters

i thought the first booking aidinho got was harsh as well tbh, he had 3 similar tackle done to him in similar postions and no-one got booked for them.

Athlete's are supposed to be able to handle these challenges and be versatile but when running at that speed having spent most of you career on the opposite flank, well......

Hmm... 2 players running at full speed skipping by defenders both jump to avoid tackles one a 200lb+ goalie diving at a surgically repaired ankle the other a foot that would of sent a player for a hard tumble when running at full speed. Neither is touched and both go down and neither throw up an arm up or claim a free kick the ref decides in both cases.

One deserves to have his ankle broken or killed according to some extreme fans, but the other is innocent angel who had no option but to go down.

A dives a dive there is no matter where it happens its as simple as that. Full measure to those who stick by their word and can see a dive no matter the colour of the jersey.

ok the thing i'm most upset about is that your player was awarded a penalty and ours was sent off just our luck at the moment me thinks .

secondly - eduardo one was clear as day he blatantly threw himself to gain an advantage you could see this in the way he dived very theatrical .he then had the cheek to smile and wink at the camera then get up and take the pen to put the tie beyond doubt . MCGEADY went down on the half way line at the touchline hurdleing a tackle from a guy who came in at full pelt this happens week in week out . now if you are thinking that is what eduardo did read my post again .

now your player who has previous was seeking to gain an advantage and gets a tie winning pen . our guy was doing what every-other player in the planet dose week in week out . and is sent off where is the justice here

it dosen't matter to me what shirt they are wearing .i can say that in all honesty

 

I can all see we are better managers than Arsene Wenger,
because we all want our own player to be suspended. While he just wants to stop the 'witch hunt' with eduardo. We all seem to think he should get fined and suspended for two games.
