ok so there is gonna be 10-15 of these a game we'll end up with games being abandoned if people are being sent off for hurdleing challenges footballers do that all the time not happy about that mcgeady hurdled the tackle to save himself injury .

the letter of the law says he can be booked if the player dives to deceive the ref or gain an advantage for his team . he hurdled the challange wich he thought was coming the guy pulled out at the last minute what can he do .

I havent seen it,but if he took a dive he should be dealt with.

exactly they heard craig burley and got on his bandwagon calling him a cheat .

eduardo knew what he was doing .showan by his sly smile twords the camera

 

clear dive deserves whatever he gets but killen however did not dive. he had to hurdle the player with both feet to get passed him. i'm pretty sure that if u have to hurdle a player with both feet it is a foul.

 

i really hate that c*nt burley, some of the stuff he says is absolutely laughable.
he wants to make his mind up, at first he couldn't believe mcgeady was sent off, then chips in with "mcgeady is a cheat" about 5 minutes later.

 

Minimal contact but contact nontheless, and at full sprint that'll take you down. It took Hanlon down. The linesman saw it, the fans saw it, the players saw it, the 4th official saw it... the referee saw something else.

If the Eduardo incident hadn't happened he'd have never been sent off.

HOWEVER, Bamba should have been sent off for shoving the referee and assaulting Samaras. Similarly another Hibs player tried to break his nose early on. Never was there 4 minutes added on. Hibs should have had several late corners that he didn't give. The referee was absolutley shocking, and a round of applause for the GIRFUY Huddle at the end is in order.

 

Anyone one with eyes and a brain can see the difference in these. Eduardo goes down in the box with no contact at all in a champions league qualifier. Were if Arsenal get a goal the tie is basically all over. Aiden goes down at the halfway line after running full pelt and anticipating a tackle.

 

i couldnae believe what burley was coming out with today, aye he thought he dived but did he need to yell it evertime fs, he sounded like a * hun watching the game fae his bed.

mcgeady hurdles a challange like every other player in the world would do and gets sent off for it

 

It depends on your description of throwing the book at him ,i never seen it ,but ive voiced enough on this subject all week ,if he is cheating hit them in the pocket a couple of weeks wages or something ,dont care who it is its got to be hit on the head ,Celtic player or not.

At some angles it looks he genuinely clattered Aiden in the ankle and the speed he is going at he will go down but others it does look like a dive so im not sure but i think he was probably looking for it however Aiden is not a cheat.
It should be Killen who should be ashamed of himself!!Im disgusted at his dive when at least there may have been contact on Aiden. Nobody is near Killen when he goes down. Bringing shame on us that is

 

he is never a cheat completly diff. situation than eduardo ,adien ran 30/40 yards and then skipped by a few challanges and with very little contact he went down ,it was a booking just unlucky he got booked b4 it

 

For what?

He went passed the guy, got clipped, lost his balance. Freekick to us, no cards needed anywhere. The linesman gave it, the fans thought it was a freekick and Hanlon (who also went down) didn't dispute it.

The referee was shocking all day. Even taking out the McGeady situation he was horrid. How is it McGeady's fault if the referee is an incompetant *?


As for Killen, he's jumpted to avoid running into someone. Happens all the time.
