if celtic show as much energy as the other night v arsenal and pass a bit better i see no problems at celtic park

but then again how many times have we thought that,,any kind of win just now will do for me,,the good stuff can come later

4:0. Hope the lads don't relax too much, I think they are maintaining match fitness after mid-week game. Although, wouldn't like to see them tired for this game...

I'm hopeful that a Samaras / Fortune partnership will be given a chance. I'm a bit wary though as both players have a tendency to shift out wide, but if we can get them central with Brown bursting through the middle and Maloney/McGeady Fox/Hinekl commanding the flanks, this could work.

    Celtic v St Johnstone

Who do you think will play against St Johnstone? Do you think Mowbray might rest a few?

Boruc, Hinkel, Caldwell, O'Dea, Naylor, McGeady, N'Guemo, S.Brown, Mizuno, McDonald & Fortune..

Subs: Zaluska, Caddis, Loovens, Conroy, Crosas, Samaras & Maloney..

Maybe something like that? Hope its a good game & we get a score like everyone has been discussing on here would be good :icon_mrgreen:

I would go with the same team that beat Aberdeen last week.

    Boruc

    Hinkel Loovens O'Dea Fox

    McGeady Donati N'Guemo Maloney

    Fortune McDonald

Although I reckon he will leave Caldwell in and maybe find a space for Brown in the team although I dont see any reason why Donati should be dropped.

    Id go for this team..
    Boruc
    Caddis O'Dea Loovens Naylor
    Mizuno N'Guemo Crosas McGeady
    Fortune Skippy

this is Fortune's real big chance now..1st home game of the season against a reasonably poor team. He really needs a goal. Id briing the 2 strikers and Aiden off early though to make sure lads are rested ahead of Arsenal.

I reckon we should go with skippy and killen up front for this this one and give mccourt his chance from the start to see if he can force his way into the starting 11 for the emirates. :50:

Said in the other thread I think it will be 4-0, with Fortun'e on the score sheet.

For the team I would drop N'Guemo as he won't be playing at the Emirates and it will give Brown and Donati a game to get used to the pairing:

    Boruc
    Hinkel Caldwell Loovens Fox
    McGeady Donati Brown Maloney
    Fortun'e McDonald

Assuming we command a decent lead by around the 50 minute mark I'd take off Brown McGeady and McDonald to give McCourt Samaras and Killen a run out:

    Boruc
    Hinkel--Caldwell--Loovens--Fox
    Donati
    Maloney---------------McCourt
    Fortun'e------Samaras
    Kilen

Got a feeling we could win this one about 5-0.as for a line up id go for:
    Boruc

    Caddis
    Caldwell
    Loovens
    Fox

    McGeady
    Donati
    N'Guemo
    McCourt

    McDonald
    Samaras

have Hinkel,Brown,Maloney and Fortune on the bench resting for next week.

This is likely to be a game where we pitch up in the oppositions half for around 85 minutes of the 90, where we'll have to break down a packed defence. I'd like to see McGeady, McCourt & Samaras all start, as they are three of our most inventive players (even if that is mainly restricted to creating chances for themselves). Perhaps a little tough on Maloney, however, these should be the games where we find out if one or two of our reserves can make the grade. I'd also hope Tony will be looking to protect some of our better players if we take a three goal lead at any point.

    ------------------Boruc---------------

    Hinkel----Caldwell----Loovens----Fox---

    McGeady--Donati/Crosas--N'Guemo--McCourt

    -------McDonald---Samaras------------

Bench: Zaluska, Caddis, O'Dea, Donati/Crosas, Brown, Maloney, Fortune

Confident we'll take the game comfortably. The ridiculously tough qualifiers in the last couple of weeks will have us in good shape. :50:

    4-0

I reckon he'll keep faith with the team from last Sunday:

    Boruc

    Hinkel Loovens Caldwell Fox

    McGeady N'Guemo Donati Maloney

    Fortune Skippy

Cant wait for big Fortune to get his 1st goal tomorrow. :icon_mrgreen:

Ever since the Aberdeen game, I've been excited about this one. I really hope we can win big, it probably won't be all that easy, at least at the beginning, but I'm positive of a good result
