Pish, so far the only thing we can compare is their records in EPL. And Sutton hardly set the heather alite either while costing 2m more.

Anyway, getting off the slagging thing (fun though it is :icon_mrgreen:)... Fortune isn't here to bag goals for fun, he's here for assists. He hasn't done * yet, but he's also played just 1 SPL game. So give it a month or two and then come back and lose your minds.

Thankfully we've already established the real meaning behind your handle. It's no wonder that you type like an illiterate eunuch.

you may find that when big chris was with norwich and blackburn he scored a few goals in the epl :87:
thankfully for us he had a poor time of it at chelsea before we signed him or else we would never have been able to afford him :97::97:

You mean like about 1 every 3 games?
Agreed on his time at Chelsea. Look, rate the player or not so far... he's played 1 SPL game. Jury is out for me, so I'm not saying he's the next Chris Sutton (though that's the kind of standard I'd judge him on.)
All I'm saying is -- 3 CL games, 1 of which the entire team was classed off the field, and 1 SPL game isn't much to go by.
If in a month he hasn't done jack, then have at it... starting spitting the dummy and flipping out like everyone around here does. Until then, you all just sound like whiny *.

How many goals did Fortune create against Aberdeen???
I cudn't give a * how many goals he scores if we win 3-1 every game and put in a performance like that. Fortune & McDonald came on against Arsenal and Fortune was the one who looked like doing something. Mowbray's said all along that Fortune is not a goalscorer so I don't know why people are having a go at him for not scoring. If you can't see what he brings to the team then your blind. He drags players out wide to allow the wide men space to come inside - the reason why McGeady scored 2 against Aberdeen when usually we're lucky if he scores 2 all season.

His movement created the 1st goal against Dynamo.
If you're pulling the typical Euro *, the entire team should be sacked.
Brown, who cost more than Fortune, hardly stepped up to the plate against Arsenal either.
In fact none of our supposed "big" players stepped up on Tuesday, including McGeady, Brown, Caldwell, Skippy. Boruc had the best night if only because he rarely had anything to do.
