Erm the reason Man United have that debt is because it is perfectly serviceable by the Sky money (obviously plus standard revenue). Without the Sky money it simply wouldn't work. As to your last point there you need to look at yourself.

 

Matchday revenue is more because of these corporate fans, you've said it yourself. If that's what you want to be measured on then fair enough.

And theres no point in saying that in 20 years every stadium will be sponsored because its not something that you can prove. Cant see Celtic Park being renamed to Carling Arena any time soon, or Barcelona (the team Arsenal want to be so badly - even tried to copy their strip a couple of seasons ago) changing the Camp Nou to some sponsors name. Thats because these are big clubs, and that's not the sort of thing a big club does. (Dont quote Bayern because I know they're a big club and the exception to the rule)

On the subject of these passionate plastic fans you speak of, and I know there is no way to prove this before you say, in my opinion when you won the double (2001/02 i think?) these people all sprung up. You have not been a well supported worldwide force throughout Africa or Asia for decades so dont make out that you have been. The same goes for Chelsea, they have huge African support now that they didn't have when they were poor. These people are glory hunters nothing more. The fans we want at our club were born and raised in the traditions and values that Celtic hold dear, these are the kind of fans that pack our stadium and supporters clubs every week. The guy that killed himself just proves my point about these people being mindless fanatics. Everytime a pin drops in Africa there is a full scale riot.

I'm not going to keep arguing with you because you typical English fans can't look past what has been handed to you on a plate.You can't see past your own money and it is the reason you think you are a big club. In your minds the Premiership is the best league in the world, and the top 4 are the biggest teams in the world. If you come from Manchester (Surrey) or Liverpool then maybe you can argue with Celtic but not if you are from London (which you pointed out was the largest city, with the most teams, yet none have had any European Cup success). So as you English fans do best, go back and watch your "best league in the world" and listen to Jamie Redknapp talking as much * as can possibly be talked, but remember without Rupert Murdoch you would have nothing.

I already said I couldn't prove it and it is my opinion. At no point did i state it was a fact.

All I am saying is that the teams that are supported in Africa are the top 4, this is because they are the teams that win and that is the only reason. In my opinion these people weren't raised hardcore Chelsea or Arsenal and don't come from families who have supported Arsenal or Chelsea for generations. I'm sure Man City will end up with a huge African following soon enough, if they don't have it already. In my opinion this is glory hunting.

You're not to know I'm not a glory hunter, but my entire family supports Celtic, I was raised to support them and have been a season ticket holder for over ten years. I'd say that puts me in the clear.

-another survey for you which consist of top supported clubs of anything like football clubs,celebrity etc arsenal were 5th in uk and two other football clubs in top 5 were manu and liverpool and celtic didnt came close.

-finally u also have not ripped oaks in european competitions when was the last time your " big club" reached quarter or semifinal of cl .

Arsenal and Celtic have the same size stadium did you know that Arsenal averages 99.9% full every season while Celtic best season was 98% capacity so even if they are corporate at least they come out to the matches.

Makes sense why you are big club and Arsenal is not when you put it side by side like that right? Celtic are big in the SPL Arsenal are big in the EPL but champions league is the premier competition make up any excuse you want but Celtic haven't been relavent there in 30 years a side from the odd round of 16 which you would expect more being one of the biggest revenue clubs in the world.

The facts are there when you look at them side by side and say Celtic are a giant of world football and Arsenal are not its down to nothing but your own stubborness.

But, I guess there are no big clubs in England everyone owes there success to Sky the four biggest in the world are 1. Rangers 2. Celtic 3. Real Madrid 4. Barca. English clubs fall somewhere between Hearts and Falkirk happy?
