Please * not arsenal. Lets be honest folks, we're miles behind that sorta quality at the moment. Arsenal are one of the teams who could actually win the thing.

 

we could take any at home , but with arsenal it would only be a 1-0 or something and wed end up going there and getting beat 2-0 or something , so either panathaniakos or stuttgart for me,wouldnt mind lyon too

It is 11 am for you guys in Scotland (GMT). 12 CET( Central European Time) is only for countries like France, Spain, Germany etc. As the draws being held in Nyon.

Sporting Lisbon please but wouldn't be too downhearted with either Panaithakos or at a push Lyon either.

 

They sold Mario Gomez but i heard from a few posters that they have spent a bit of money on a striker and other parts of the field. German teams are usually solid too.

Lyon have lost Benzema but signed Lisandro Lopez from Porto. Stuttgart have lost Mario Gomez but have signed Pogrebynak from Zenit.

 

Holy *, how can so many people get this wrong, and be so sure about it at the same time? The UEFA website confirms what many of us have been saying all along, that the draw will be between the following teams;

Sky got it wrong because their more interested in what kind of bog roll Ronaldo is wiping his * with this week, and that Wayne Rooney thinks he is being haunted by a faulty vacuum cleaner which turns itself on now and again. BBC got it wrong because they are simply incompetent.

Our season hadn't started but we caught Moscow cold. There will be no easy games , none what so ever. Im just happy that we have the Europa League as a cushion.

1) Sporting
2) Panathanaikos
3=) Lyon/Stuttgart
5) Arsenal.

I totally agree about who we can get, but does anyone understand the non champoins path and thje champions path? On the Uefa website it says there are 22 teams on automatic entry and then 10 places that you qualify for. For the ten places it seems really odd as we are among 10 strong teams in our path which 5 qualify from, and then the other 'path' seems to have 10 mickey mouse teams, see below.

Problems copying and pasting here is the so called champions path.As you can see it appears really easy compared to the non champions path.

With the lineup having been completed with the conclusion of the third qualifying round on Wednesday, ten clubs in the Champions Path will compete for five places in the group stage and another ten challengers have been allocated to the Non-Champions Path. In each of the two sections, five teams are seeded according to the UEFA club coefficient rankings and five unseeded, with the five winners from each section joining the 22 automatic entrants in the group stage. The play-offs are played over two legs on 18/19 and 25/26 August. The draw ceremony will be conducted by UEFA General Secretary David Taylor together with competitions director Giorgio Marchetti. Video and audio coverage of the draw will be provided on uefa.com.
