    N'Guemo for me, showed what we've missed in our team for the last few years. The man was imense,controlled the game and very rarely gave the ball away. When he did give it away he was back winning the ball.

    Brown showed that he can be the linchpin for bringing us into the CL and regaining our silverware.For TM to bring him on and play him where he did, shows the manager knows and trusts him.

    Fox also was outstanding he gave their winger * and showed once again that TM knows a good player when he sees one.

    have to say though mcgeady was awful, would give him a 4, fortune 5 ,mc donald 6 all lacked basic control of the ball when passed into feet shocking and frustrating.

    but on a better note on a very happy night, fox and ngwemo hinkel donati scot brown and sammy did very well.

    Boruc - 7 - Not much to do but plucked crosses out the air and one good save at the end.

    Hinkel - 7 - Great cross for the 1st, solid at the back and supported Aiden well

    Caldwell - 6 - Gary, mate, remember your first season when you thought you were Franco Baresi and lost the ball a lot? Try not to go back that way eh? Jeezus some bombscare moments

    Loovens - 8 - Magnificent. Never lost a challenge or header all night.

    Fox - 9 - My sweet lord what a difference a good LB makes. Comfortable on the ball, rock solid and can pass, looks like a great signing.

    McGeady - 6 - Worked hard but some poor crossing and passing. Never gave up though.

    N'Guemo - 9 - Just an absolute monster of a midfielder. Get him signed Tony. MOTM by a mile. :50:

    Donati - 6 - Combination of slack moments and great passing. Par for the course from Massimo

    Maloney - 7 - Wee man worked tirelessly al night and gave the full back a torid time.

    McDonald - 6 - Thought he was mince up until 43 minutes tbh. Priceless opener.

    Fortune - 6 - Worked hard with little joy. Did well at the opener. He'll come good :50:

    Subs:

    Brown - 7 - Looked like he'd never been away. Inspirational when he came on.

    Samaras - 7 - Hopefully moment of brilliance will win fans over and raise his confidence. Your a hero Sammy :50:

    Totally agree the more i see of this guy the better he looks and i would imagine there would have been a few epl coaches sniffing about after the reviews he has been getting. :50:

    Im giving it to Dan Fox,He has come in and already has settled into doing the job he has been asked to do so quickly ,N"Guemo had a fantastic game aswell but full backs never allways get the credit there due so Fox for me . the whole team played a good hard game and a special mention goes to Mowbray for his brand of football and his changes when needed ,well in the Boss.

    Over the 90 N'Guemo gets it, but in the time Scotty Brown was on the pitch I thought he was the best player. Great substitution by BTM. I hope we can look forward to a season of Brown playing like that.

    btw is anyone else losing patience with McGeady?

    Andreas Hinkel, two assists, two goal line saves and fine defending. N'Guemo is a close second but, Hinkel really upped his game from the first leg.

    Great performance from all including Mogga. For me, Fox,Nguemo and Scotty Brown stood out.

    nguemo or fox for MOTM didnt put foot wrong was much improved performance from hinkel although some of his crossing was still substandard like maloney and mcgeady's. But his cross for first goal was top drawer
