Please vote to say who you think the Man of the Match was :50:

My vote goes to N'Guemo for bossing the midfield, doing the tidy, scrappy stuff and keeping everything ticking over.

Artur Boruc...7 Everything fine when called upon.

Andreas Hinkel...9 Wonderful cross for the opener. Tireless up and down the pitch and solid defensively.

Gary Caldwell...7 Not the usual titan at the back but solid all the same.

Glen Loovens...8 Won plenty headers and didn't put a foot wrong.

Dan Fox....8 Is this the left-back we've all been after? Prognosis after this showing is fantastic.

Aiden McGeady... 6 Toiled on the right and didn't see either enough of the ball nor able to put in any telling crosses.
Russians knew he was the danger and thus the gameplan snuffed him out.

Landry N'Guemo...9 Absolutely tireless - a machine. Cutting down every attack, snapping at the heels and covered every blade of grass. Superb.

Massimo Donati....7 Fairly quiet but always provided the pass option and showed a reasonable range of passing going forward and relieving pressure.

Shaun Maloney...7 Like Maloney it appeared the gameplan was to deny him any time or space. Struggled to make an impact but proved to be a nuisance in the second half.

Marc-Antoine Fortune...7 Instrumental in the first goal and worked hard, but found it difficult getting into 'striker' positions.

Scott McDonald...8 Clinical with the finish albeit a quiet first half. Became more dangerous in the second period just enough to warrant an 8.

Scott Brown....8 The plan B to end all plan B's. He was unplayable to the Ruskies when he came on and transformed the match in our favour. What an impact.

Between N'Guemo and Fox for me, both awesome. Hinkel was excellent as well.

N'guemo. Hes a complete breath of fresh air, I thought our defenders were solid. Really good team performance.

Hinkel MOTM, our Fuhrer was behind most of our dangerous actions with his crosses. N'Guemo marshaled the midfield, and our defense did much better than I expected.

Lol N'Guemo, but i voted Mowbray because the option was there and what a tactical change. :icon_mrgreen:

If it wasn't for N'Guemo having a blinder tonight my man of the match would have been Brown for the 20 or 30 minutes he played he was the best player on the park, miles above anyone else.

Went for Loovens just ahead of N'Guemo & Fox.
The whole team was brilliant though.
