    got speaking to this old boy the day at work about the game tomorrow!
    blethering away and that and he comes out with celtic havent won an away match since the old european cup to todays champions league! he also says that the qualifiers dont count! is this true? iv tried to google it but im not getting very far just now.

    qualifiers musnt count cause we bet ajax 3-1 away in a qualifier for the champs league a few year ago!!

    Qualifiers aside, I can't remember the last time we won away in the European Cup/Champions League, so it's probably true.

    It became the Champions League in its current format in 1992 and we've never won an away match in the Champions League which means we've not won one in over 17 years minimum anyway. Sounds about right to me.

    It looks worse because it's counted in 'years'. I mean, I'm sure there's been plentry of years that we've not been in the CL 'proper' (it's all actually the CL, qualifiers or not :rolleyes:)
