Guys i think we should take our hats off to dinamo tonight , they defended outstandingly , it was the type of game we couldve played all night and not scored , Credit to dinamo moscow :50:

Heres hoping we can pull it out of the bag in moscow next week :shamrock:

Yes - they defended very well.

We played well, kept pressuring them throughout - but a mixture of their good defending, flaky refereeing and just not getting the rub of the green meant we ended up with nothing for our effort.

The silver lining for me was N'Guemo. The more I see of him, the more impressed I am. He will be a regular starter for us.

    Overall, simply not our night.

They thought us a lesson in pressing and defence. Our efficiency was equal to zero and they took advantage of one out of two good chances. Can't really say who played bad in our squad, it was collective defeat and we, like the team, must deal with it and look forward to meet them in Moscow.

would have liked to have seen mccourt given a chance maybe last 20 mins dont even know if he was on the bench tbh. seems like he can change a game in an instant, impact player in moscow, i hope so:)

dinamo defended in numbers and defended well, and broke on the counter, was impressed with their front two. all is not lost tho

If the result wasn't the most important thing, I would have been a happy bhoy.

And if I wasn't a Celtic fan I would have thought it were a good football match.

Bringing Killen and Samaras on didn't help. We had a lot of chances before they came on and then maybe 1 or 2 the whole 35 minutes they played.

Tonight showed the difference between a good preseason and being 1/2 way into a season

one of those games really we done everything right but couldn't finish it off how skippy and fortune didn't take their chances is remarkable, maybe one to many crosses when skippy and fortune were on? maybe mogga might play killen or even samaras as once they came on we played the same game but were more effective in the air you could see the difference straight away with the high balls/crosses.

made for an interesting game and a frustrating game but maybe one or two things have been learned from this

    Yeah, exactly.

Definitely not over though. We outplayed them for most of the match. If we can get a goal over there, it is all back in the mix.

Their defensive ability warrants praises. They obviously know how to shut down any creativity the opponent has in his team. Killen brought most of the problems to their defense, but, it was too little crossing, and too much fancy ground passing game. Mowbray likes quick movement on the ground, but that can't break through the Russians. Or the Huns.
