    Just last week on the websire, when the bumblebee was revealed, it said "New Celtic Away Kit 09/11"

    Now realising that fans are loving the top and will buy it, it's changed to "New Celtic Away Kit 09".

    So, they're going to have in for one year like all the other tops, meaning another £40 quid next summer of ya want another away top!!!!

    Your not obliged to buy the tops mate, Celtic are a business and will always try to maximise profits from its customers. Ive never paid full price for a top, if I want one i'll but the 12 quid one when a new one is released.

    Maybe the 9/11 bit didnt go down well and the changed it!!

    Sorry, is the £40 coming out of your bank account with each kit released or something?

    I really don't know why people get so wound up about a new strip coming out each summer, you're not forced to buy it, wear last seasons top - no-one will care.

    And I don't know why you're putting this 'blame' on Celtic, it's Nike who make the kits, Celtic have little or nothing to do with them.

    "New Celtic Away Kit 09" merely states the year it is being released in, it will be 2 seasons if it said 09/11.

    i dont see the problem with this its mostly seems to be the people that go out & buy the barcelona,man who,liverpool strips who moan about it, then they complain how much money these other clubs take in more than us

    im sure they have just removed the 9/11 part for political purposes lol

    im sure there is a rule now stating that clubs must have the kits for two season anyway..i think the third kit/CL kits can be changed every season though. cant remember where i read that.. i will check for confirmation.

    i never buy home and away usually but this season i can see me owning the two away kits and the home kit lol

    I think they're doing this to future-proof against a change of sponsor. We're in our last year of our Carling deal and it may not be renewed.

    Carling have confirmed they will not be renewing the deal with us and the Huns mate, they are looking more into music sponsorship than sports now!

    its nike that manufactures the kits, so surely they wont have to redesign the kits because of the sponser? just a thought m8
