    * Me Nooo ! Hinkel is one of the best players here. Maybe another Naka, Or Mascherano - Saying he is Unhappy or His Family dosent like it after he has Built Up a Reputation for him self - Lets call it 'Using Celtic As a Stepping Stone'
I Hope thats not the case, but...

If it really is for family reasons I'd begrudgingly let him go but like has been said before I think we should be looking for £4m. Serious defensive reinforcements required if he does go.

I hope not. He was one of our best player's last season. but if he was to go i think he would be sold at about 3.5 million tbh.

Hinkel is a great full back be hard to replace with our money, he ges forward, can cross and cut in and makes great passes which lead to goals, he should never leave

This guy should have been in contention for player of the year last season IMO.

Crunches into tackles, comfortable on the ball and bombs forward.

Shocking if we let him go :54:

I like Hinkel, think he's a really good player for us and would be sad to see him go - who could we get to replace him for the same (or less) money?

There were some games where he looked a bit shaky, but overall I thought he did well - hope he stays.

if Mowbray want Hinkel to leave then Mowbray is a gimp

Hinkel was our best player last season in terms of consistency of high level performance

as much as it pains me to say as i thought he had a good future here but if any rb is to go it should be wilson, he's to injury prone and is getting a wage to lay on injury table after all with the way the inflated market is right now i think it's fair to assume we could cheekly get £2million for him

Hinkel needs to dump his wife.

She is clearly a bad influence.

We should find him a good Scottish lass - problem solved. :50:

Chris Sutton was effectively banned from playing for England prior to joining us because he had refused to play for England B earlier in his career. Ithink that a more relevant point would be Alan Thompson because England were crying out for a left sided midfield player in the mid 2000s and Sven would not select him.

I don't know if the story is true or not but if it is then it's fine by me. I've always thought Hinkel is over-rated. I think Mark Wilson is just as good when he's fit. Keeping Wilson fit seems to be a massive problem though.

Get Caddis in there, just as good with the potential to be better imo plus you could strengthen other areas with the money from the transfer

if we get a good offer and he wants to go i say take it, will miss him as i think he's the best RB we have at the moment but the money can be used to help us get a LB. Got plenty of cover for RB in wilson and caddis.

think its just paper talk though
