its in the express today that andy is to head the exodus of players leaving celtic in TM's new era. Does everyone else think that this would just be stupid?#

I would be amazed in all honesty - especially with all the deensive issues we have at present. also, would not let him go unless a decent profit were on the cards....even then, losing a German International at the back, when our defense needs STRENGTHENING not weakening would amaze me. <!-- / message --><!-- edit note -->

 

I really rate Hinkel and there is no way we could replace him with better. Would be gutted and baffled if he went.

 

I think Mowbary will prefer Caddis though because he likes to play really attacking fullbacks

He apparently want's to go back and play in La Liga, Athletico Madrid are suppose to be sniffing about his availability. He has to be worth at least 5-6 million. I really believe Paul Caddis could do a job for us.

 

If Caddis can handle Ronaldinho , then he can handle any spl player . If Hinkel goes then i wouldnt be too worried.

 

He wouldn't leave and Celtic wouldn't sell him (imo).

 

this is not the kind of defensive news I want to read. He's been quite good for us but I suppose everybody has a price HOWEVER what are we gonna do for right and left backs if this is true? I'm not hearing/reading anything about possible defensive arrivals - well none under 30 years of age. We need something done in this area PDQ!

Hinkel was pretty much my player of the year. I'll be gutted if he leaves. Really like Caddis, but I think he's a bit light-weight by comparison. Just dump the wife. If she likes Spain, she should * off back there.

 

If i remember correctly, ronaldinho destroyed him and caddis was subbed after the first half, another seriously over-rated player. If hinkel leaves we need to spend.
