We are kinda stuck in the middle with Broony, he was bought for an inlfated fee, he hasn't performed, therefore we will not get our money back....really doubt if he would command £4m on the market.....therefore we are probably stuck and need to give him one last chance. Either Lennon (or whoever) builds some rapport with him and gets him back to performing, therefore we finally get our moneys worth or he limps out of Parkhead at teh end of next season for maybe £2.5m

I've never known a player to devide opinion of our support like "Coco Pops" Broon!

At one point, I thought I was the only guy in Britain to think he was a complete waste of time and money. Here we have a player who has been voted player of the year, never gets dropped and gets picked for Scotland automatically. This same player's attributes amount to...well... every pass is a tackle, every tackle a foul, every foul a card, he doesn't score goals, can't head, will never be a leader if he plays till he's a hundred[and he's our club captain ffs]:31: and the only time you notice he's on the park at all is when he makes the most basic of errors!

Sorry, I just don't get the Coco Pops Broon thing at all l:38:

Sell him! If we are offered 3M for him, I'd take it, just to get him off the wage bill and I'd drive him to the airport or wherever myself:shamrock:

he could turn out a robson-esque player... we need someone like that, but we also need someone in midfield who can ACTAULLY MAKE A PASS

That rules out the current midfield !

We do need someone like that but i find it hard to imagine Brown playing that role ,Robson used to look around him and see what was on ,Brown on the other hand runs with blinkers run and is always in a rush ,its good that he has pace but if he used it at the correct times he would be a better player ,if he took a second to look up and see the game in front of him just maybe he could be a player .

For me Scott Brown is just the same as Thomas Gravesen runs about gets booked screams at a few players doesnt really create or stop anything

I'm still so unsure as to why alot of our fans dont like him. People at the club when talking about great players mention him alot, he's recently been made/kept our captain by 2 managers and did he not win POTY? For a player everyone was raving about for the last couple of years who's had injury problems this season I cant see what the problem is.

I said a bit earlier mikey that if Brown took his foot of the pedal a bit and looked around him a bit more he would be a better player ,but yes his pace is good there is no doubting that and its a good tool to have but the game in Centre Mid needs someone who is aware of everyone's movement in front of him and thats his downfall ,everything is to hurried and often mistakes happen but he could still add this to his game if he dropped his pace at certain times .

    Very well said kennydal.

I think someone at Celtic has had a word with him about this, because in the last few games I've noticed he's not been charging about, but been very calm in possession, controlling his passing & restricting his forward runs to help the wingers push on.

Would keep him because hes better than N'Guemo and has a lot of energy, but he needs to calm down during games cos you can't get away with being rash when you're in a celtic top (old firm at ibrox perfect example) so theres no point in keeping him if he constantly gets booked and sent off

he's got the potential there so i would give him 1 FINAL chance, if next season he constantly underperforms like he did this year then ADDIOS.

he's been good since lenny took over though as has the whole team but he's standing out more, needs a far better cm partner than nguemo thats for sure.

At no time since he came to us has he been any better than decent. so if decent money got offered we should do the decent thing and sell him
