The agent of Nancy's Marc-Antoine Fortune has claimed that his client has a choice of whether to move to Scottish giants Celtic or Premier League side Hull City this summer.

It had been reported that several other clubs, such as Fulham, Portsmouth and Wolverhampton Wanderers, were looking to sign the 27-year-old, but it appears to be a two-horse race now.

Apparently, the 6ft striker is in favour of a move to the Bhoys to link up with newly-appointed manager Tony Mowbray, who was responsible for taking him on loan to West Bromwich Albion during the latter part of the 2008-09 campaign.

Fortune's representative, Michael Manuello, however, insists that his client is yet to decide where he will be plying his trade come the beginning of the 2009-10 season.

"It's a straightforward choice - Celtic or Hull City," Manuello told The Daily Record.

"We're in discussions with both over personal terms. I expect a decision by the end of the week.

"Marc doesn't have to meet Tony Mowbray to know what it is like to play for him at Celtic because he already knows the manager very well and trusts him.

"But he does have a choice to make. He has to weigh up all his options."

Fortune found the back of the net on five occassions from 17 first-team appearances for the Baggies.

I don't care if Hull offer him an extra 10k a week - if he chooses them over us there has to be something wrong with him!

Seriously, why would this even be a difficult decision?

Fair enough, he'll have a season in the Premiership but he'll never get close to lifting, or even competing for, a trophy.

He'll get to play in the best league in the world, against some of the best teams in the world and against some of the best players in the world.

Even if they're relegated, he'll get a season in that situation and will then move on to another team after he's proved he can cut it in that league.

well if he chooses a wee humpty club like hull? then clearly his only interest is * money? so if that happens then they can have him as i dont want players like that at celtic fc.

I'm not that fussed if we get him or not, maybe because I haven't seen that much of him but what I have seen I wouldn't pay in the region of £4million for him.

Then you can wave cherrio to the entire squad....The days of playing for the club over huge cash enticements elsewhere are gone mate. It's all about the money for 95% of players everywhere.

do you know anything? There are only about 6 decent teams in the EPL. The rest of the teams are full of mercinaries all trying to get transfered to a higher team, or else just enjoying life on a big wage while the fans crack up(newcastle last year)
celtic is the perfect club for ambitious passionate players. They can make a name for themselves by being a big fish in a small pond and get a cap for their own country, pick up medals for their cv and experience huge european clubs and their passionate fans..something you will not get in the majority of the bottom third of the EPL
