    Anyway, came in to post that we should keep an eye on Adam Armstrong at Newcastle, see if he gets a chance with them or not.

    I'd rather have him than Gayle to be honest. Think he looks a more natural goalscorer and is 6 years his junior.

    Sign masip from barcelona, promote fasan to number 2 and Doohan as 3rd choice.

    While we are there, clear out the * in midfield (bitton, johansen, Armstrong and gms) and slap a bid in for sergi samper, with a buy back option like we did with crosas.

    Be very happy with vorm as well.
    Masip I think is a good keeper with years still in him. Time to come on to a game and wouldn't be at all expensive. But open to ideas.

    Overall think there is a good 25man squad in there if we clear the * out and sort out a keeper and a quality midfielder. Who I think samper with a buy back option could be an ideal dealing. Think the crosas deal.

    Couldn't find anything on TransferMarkt about him. It says he specialises in Greek players, though. According to TransferMarkt, Sammy is managed by a group called Juzzt Football. Juzzt Football have 3 Greek players, Sammy, Samaris (not a chance in * we're getting him) and 22 year old right back Stelios Kitsiou.

    Is any of this relevant? * knows.

    He definitely was/is Samaras' agent.

    I think in general though he has loads of contacts. If you look at a recent tweet he made about Pogba he is claiming the deal to Utd is stalling and United fans seem to be tweeting him a lot.

    Lovre Kalinic would be a good option for GK, too.

    6ft 6 Croat. Could probably get him for around £3m. At the same time we should be seriously thinking about a keeper's ability on the deck, seeing as how big a part it will play in Rodgers' system.

    It is why I keep banging on about Vorm. Kicking is one of his strongest attributes.

    With vorm being 32, if we went for him I would quite like all 3 keepers to be punted this season. And bring in another 20/21 year old keeper to develop along with Doohan from the youth. Big outlay though.

    I think Masip would prove great business for us, he is unproven but it's like he's some scrub from Stranraer, he's a Barcelona player. Worth the risk IMO. Vorm would be an impressive signing if we could pull it off. Also been looking at keepers from the Bundesliga 2. Think there's bound to be a tall, commanding keeper in that league that would love a step up to Celtic.

    I know you've had this argument with someone else but he is a Barca B player. Plus GK isn't exactly a position they are known for consistently producing world class talents. It is just a bit of an FM shout. Even though I also recall you saying you've never played it. :56:

    If it was a promising young midfielder like Crosas I'd be more enclined to take the punt. GK is a crucial area for us. Replacing Gordon with a guy who has barely had any top level experience and doesn't know the pressures that come with playing first team week in week out would be a step down.

    Surely better options. Thomas Kraft is one I'd look at, from Hertha Berlin.

    Always rated him at Palace. Defensive midfielder who can hit a free kick. He's been replaced as their captain and looks to be on the way out. Experienced and he wouldn't cost much at all.
