People talking about McGeady coming back. Think if we could get him fit and passing the ball then it would be good but I dont know where it leaves some of our wingers we have.

id say most ajax youths would see the best thing for their career as staying an ajax youth.

their track record at bringing young players through is one of the best in world football, it would be hard to convince someone to leave that behind.

we need to focus on improving our youth policy, and bringing players through consistently before we can start to look at pinching from other good academies.

although this is something that i think will improve under ronny's stewardship

I don't know about that. We could always advertise Derk Boerrigter's success as a good reason for them to move here... :fear:

McGeady would be a great signing.

Him and GMS on the wings would be enough to make me Randy Marsh.

Yeah his injuries are just as bad as Forrest and Twardzik wouldn't even be able to be second fiddle in our midfield to many attacking players could've been trained at LB to be third fiddle we have both Lustig and Matthews so I wouldn't be surprised if one would be willing to play LB in some games don't get me wrong Emilio is an amazing LB but if we end up playing Efe Armbrose at CB then we need someone who doesn't attack as much as Emilio

Nene from West Ham would be a quality signing but seen as he was in Qatar and at PSG before West Ham I think he is probably on massive wages. Jon Flanagan would be good at left back but can't see it happening

I know it's most of the time bollocks but Transfermarkt says that we have a 30% chance of signing a defensive midfielder called Daniel Lukasik, from Lechia Gdansk. He is 24, already a Poland international, and would come for free. Since we don't have a lot of option in that position in case Biton and Brown can't play for a reason, sounds nice for a backup and a good gamble.

He's only 18 and available on a free from Scunthorpe. It's fair to say there's a fair amount of quality in the lower leagues.

There were rumours of a move for him in 2013, that'll be why.

I'd like to see McGeady back.

As he gets older as well it would be interesting to see him move into a central position..
