Would ideally love Wilfried Bony from Vitesse. Exactly what we need right now, goalscorer, strong and good in the air even though he is just 6ft.

Been linked with the usual big money moves to Chelsea etc but I think we should at least put a bid in. I cannot see him going for anything over 5-6m. Bas Dost left Heerenveen for only around 6m euros and he had scored 32 goals in the Eredivisie that year. Mind you don't know whether or not his contract was running down at the time.

I know it's not very realistic that we would spend 6m on a player nowadays but he really is a player I like and would really give us something different upfront.

EDIT: Forget I mentioned him, being rated at over £12m and West Ham are one of the favourites to sign him.:97:

I would still love Anthony Ujah, 22 year old Nigerian striker on loan at Koln right now from Mainz. Watched him a few times this season, he is quality.

I like the idea of having a bit of experience in the side, but I'm not sure a 36 year-old Phil Neville is the answer.

Phil Neville is not a player we need. He plays in CM or at RB, that is probably our two strongest positions.

Phil Neville is still a good player with bags of experience, but as murphy said: it's the last position we need, and for the wages he'd demand it just wouldn't be worth it.

If McFadden continues his Motherwell revival I'd take a chance on him here.

Best players I see are James Dayton, Paul McGowan and Willo Flood but their no Celtic class.

Could take Randolph as back-up keeper, probably the 2nd best keeper in Scotland.

Paul McGowan is a good player, might be better second time around but we really need to be aiming higher. The guy Arron doran is a good spl player but again we need to be aiming higher

No-one in that list. We need to aim a bit higher than anyone in there. Mcfadden has had his chance to join us and didn't take it.

There is nobody on the list of SPL players I would even take a punt on. If Motherwell lose every player on that list they have, then they will struggle big time next year!

Id take Grainger as a back-up left back and Randoph as a back-up keeper if Zaluska wasnt happy as our num 2 (he is though).

Danny Grainger is hopeless! I better never see him pull on a Celtic jersey.

We should have gotten Dixon as back up after he left Dundee UTD. Would probably even have seriously challenged Izzaguire this season tbh.

Agreed about Dixon and Douglas. What age is Magennis?

Josh Magennis is only 22, don't rate him myself though. Had a look on his wiki and it has him listed as being 6ft 6 in height. Never thought he was that tall?
