    I'm sure someone probably has suggested it but how about Richard Dunne in the summer if Villa go down? He'll be 33 in September and seems to be picking up injuries now a days but thought I'd throw it out there. Cost £5M about 3/4 years ago so shouldn't be too expensive.

    what about Pablo Barrera ? the mexican winger? I was excited about the prospect of us signing him when Lennon first arrived, Im sure he even came up here to take a look at the stadium facilities etc. He went to West Ham instead but didnt really flourish in his first season in the EPL, onloan with Zaragoza atm.

    Pacey, direct, gave France a real pasting at the 2010 world cup I remember and exactly what we need on the wing. could pick him up for no more than 2 or 3 million surely? seeing as West Ham paid 4 million for him.
    Anyone been watching him in La Liga this season?

    Definitely should go for Dunne if he's available. Just the sort of leader that we need in the center of the back four if we are to make any kind of impact in Europe. His performance in Moscow for Ireland a while back was legendary.

    When Liam Brady was manager of Celtic he wanted to sign McGrath, but Ron Atkinson at Villa wouldn't let him go. McGrath wanted to sign for Celtic himself. If Dunne is interested in signing for us, we should snap him up.

    Jaime Vardy 31 in 34 for fleetwood would give him a chance as backup i know i'll get slaughterd as he plays in the blue square but i also said Le Fondre a while before he went to Reading and he hasn't done too badly

    What about Emile Heskey think he's out of contract in the summer and ano this is controversial but maby Carlos Cuéllar think he is also out of contract in the summer
