Attack for me, Samaras can go. i'm not a fan despite his Old Firm showings. three or four good performances a season doesn't warrant a place at Celtic Park in my opinion. he only seems to try when his position at the club is threatened. Murphy despite is a back-up player nothing more nothing less. he's there in case something happens to Hooper, Stokes or Samaras. would rather have a young player coming through. Hutchinson, Rasmussen and McGowan will never cut it here.

Out: Samaras, Murphy, Hutchinson, Rasmussen and McGowan.
    In: top class striker.

Midfield Juárez should be kept as he can play as right back and will probably have more of a look in in that area than in midfield. with Maloney coming back and Forrest, Commons, McCourt and Ledley being other quality wingers, we won't need Ljungberg and McGinn. don't need to bring anyone in. we just need to keep the rest.

    Out: Ljungberg and McGinn.
    In: no one needed.

Defence Hooiveld, Hinkel and O'Dea's time at the club is rightly numbered. Loovens doesn't do it for me and can also follow them. with Kelvin Wilson joining in the Summer on a free, i think we need another centre back to join him, Rogne and Majstorović. Mulgrew is a versatile defender and would be good cover for left back and centre back but i wouldn't want to be in the same scenario we found ourselves in this year. Cha can go. he's all right but M.Wilson (needs to get him to sign a new contract) and Juárez will do for me in that position. Juárez, after all, is a natural right back.

Out: Hooiveld, Hinkel, O'Dea, Loovens and possibly Cha.
In: A good quality centre back to go with the signing of K.Wilson.

Goalkeeper our number one priority in the window. i don't think Forster has done enough to be considered for a permanent deal. good goalie, but not Celtic class.

    Out: Forster (loan deal expiring).
    In: top class goalkeeper.

Overall slight trim in the squad is badly needed. but probably the lowest amount of players needed in a long time. the key would probably be keeping our current stars at the club. £5m+ we could get for those players not leaving on a Bosman. and over £100k+ a week wages saved.

i tell you who i would gamble on. Kasper Schmeichel. his contract runs out in 2012 so should be able to get him. no doubting he has potential at 24.

would take him for under £2m.

he's at Leeds at the moment. i rated him at Man City but he was just too inexperienced to be relied on in a top league so they brought in Shay Given.

he has had some great games. solely kept Leeds in a lot of them. jumps eerily like his old man when closing down an attacker.

would be a gamble, but i reckon it'll be worth it. only problem i could see is if Leeds get into the playoffs. think they are currently occupying the last playoff spot. if they don't make it and we come in with him going into his last year of his contract, i reckon he will jump at the chance. he is quite a grounded person. i think he gave up his future wages up at Notts County when they had financial problems.

He'd be a great signing, but Leeds would want more like 6million, he's so highly rated by them, and if Leeds are not promoted don't be surprised to see him go to a midtable Epl team.

    Out
    Sammy - £1.5m
    Murphy - £1m
    Crosas - £0.3m
    Hooiveld - £1m
    Loovens - £0.5m
    Maloney - £0.75m
    McGinn - £1m
    Ljungberg - free
    Hutchison - free
    Hinkel - free

That frees up some wages and gives us like £6m that we can spend.

    In
Craig Bellamy - season loan, maybe or new ST?
    Richard dunne £3m
Shay Given - season loan with option to buy

Invest in new contracts for players such as Izaguirre etc.

    Team for next season:

    Given
    Wilson Dunne Mulgrew Izzy
    Brown Kayal Ledley Commons
    Bellamy
    Hooooper

    mmmmmmmmm i like it:crazy3:

thats too ideal mate. Don't see anyone paying a million for Hooiveld and Murphy, no way. Even McGinn. Keep Samaras. Think most of that is pie in the sky really mate.

Maybe mate but I think if we did get the funds but and we get in the CL group stages we could attract the likes of dunne and given though.

And we also get Kelvin Wilson next summer. Dont we see him as a first option for CB?

Would love Given. But it would have to be within the financial means of the club and if they wanted to make the move willingly and commit for a few year.

Copenhagen are obliged to pay us almost 2 mill if they take up the option to buy him at the end of his loan.

Lennon's clearly not a mug in the transfer market. I trust him, and to be honest Forest had, I think, the best or second best defensive record in the league last season. So he's clearly not utter pish.

    doubt it is that much

if they dont do that, nee * is going to pay that much for him. point still stands, they are unrealistic fees in my opinion

doubt it is that much. I doubt it. I don't think it 'is'. Aside from this, since it is a but picky, are the other fees realistic ones?

    Once again though, doubt it
