A have had a season book since the new staduim opend but the last few years a cant say av been enjoying going to celtic park,to many people getting on the players backs. Going to go to mostly away games next year much better day out, which is a shame!!!

difficult one isn't it you don't want to run the risk of saying we have rubbish fans but you have to wonder why we can't fill CP anymore if it dosen't improve this season then i will be asking serious questions of the fans . :54:

but in saying that it was very difficult last season to go along to celtic park for the so-called smaller games . because of how we were struggleing against them . and it's not like we were attempting to make an atmosphere .

Ask questions not of the fans mate. Ask questions of the club who take your money as to why the ticket prices are so high compared to other leagues in Europe.

Ask why the stewards are arseholes and have been instructed to eject fans for trivial things like smoking, drinking, standing and singing of songs.

Ask why fans groups banners get removed for no apparent reason.

Ask why if you but a CL ticket package in cash then miss a season book installment do you then lose your CL ticket.

Get answers to these questions and you'll be wiser as to why its so * at CP these days.

Times are a changing in football and its for the worse. It's not the fans fault. They have remained as commited to their club as they can, too many other things have ruined the matchday experience.

What a silly and unjustified post. Who are you to judge other poeples finances, and decide for them if they can afford the new great priced season tickets. I personally have renewed by ticket, but only last week, as I did not have money to renew in May. My ticket cost me £600. Thats not just pocket money, thats alot of dosh for working class poeple.

    Total nonsence post!

ahem, money? sure there are many fans critical of the product, but a good many more who have suffered due to the current economic crisis.

i'm currently in work, however my missies was made redundant 7 months ago and we're really struggling since the rate of our mortgage was calculated against the both of us earning.

make a loss every single month and need to cut back on something or just put off paying something, just the way it is.

celtic will always come behind food, a roof over my head, and clothes on my back. if you have it in any other order then you either have someone to bail you out of are a fool.

So ,once a tim ,allways a tim only counts if you go to the games ? i would dearly love to afford the luxury of going to games but when you have 4 kids on the go ,prioritys come into play ,and Celtic are not top of that list .

but surely with every fan who can't afford to renew there season ticket .(with the amount of supporters) we have there should be another waiting to step into his/her place .

i don't see why with one of the biggest fan bases in the world we should be struggleing to sell season tickets . the atmosphere is only going to get better if people turn up .

we have too many fans that are happy enough to go watch us in the pub (and know fine well they have the money to buy season tickets )or at home on shitanta .

these are the same fans who then expect to have a say on how the club is run (i am not saying this about anyone on here don't get the knickers in a twist):50:

p.s did the club not just release a statement saying that ST sales were going well :celt_2:

Stupid post ! Judging everyone else's situation, without a * clue ! I could afford a season ticket but when i total up petrol from Lincoln, overnight stay etc , it all adds up and makes it too expensive. But i am still a tim and always will be ! So keep your misguided, *, opinion to yourself !

Do you know how much it costs to get to a game if you don't live close to Glasgow, every game that I go to costs me around 250 euro (more for OF and European games) add that on to the price of a season ticket and you are talking a * of a lot of money - what use is having a huge world wide support to season ticket sales if you can't afford to travel to Glasgow to use the ticket.

The atmoshpere at games years ago was much better, not because of the amount of people their but because you were with your mates, standing and singing - the whole demographic of those that go (can afford to go) to the games have now changed - the atmosphere is rubbish because of the amount of people that have a season ticket because it is a status symbol to them - something they can use to show off with.

The atmosphere is also poor because the expectations of the fans have changed - we expect the team to just turn up and win against the smaller opposition, when that is not happening instead of offering encouragement a lot of fans tend to get on players backs, I mean you can hear the moans and groans after 10 minutes if we haven't scored.

The atmosphere is only going to get better if supporters make the effort to support the team - you don't need 60,000 people to make an atmosphere.

Sorry for the rant but it really annoys me when people question other fans loyalty because they don't go to all the games, people go to the games they can afford as simple as that, maybe some of the ones that do go to all the games should do a bit more to create an atmosphere.

how we gonna look then :38:

there is more than 60 thousand celtic fans living in or around glasgow who can afford a season ticket under 17 wich i get is only £170 that ain't bad when you can pay in instalments .:shamrock:

That is a good point. The majority of the home support are guilty of expecting to win every game easily and do moan rather than encourage the team. Why is that?

I reckon its the clubs own fault in a way. The fans expect so much because they pay so much. We fork out allsorts in ticket money and other memorabilia that eclipses all other SPL teams. We buy the best players off the other teams in the league and we spend millions of pounds on foreigners every year. The rest of the SPL cannot compete with us in any way when it comes to money, pulling power and fanbase yet we struggle against them?

So with all that can you blame a fan who would expect to be destroying these smaller and less well equiped clubs?

I can understand why they do it, but I don't see the point of it myself - booing and moaning at a player is likely to lead to them making more mistakes, offering encouragement might not make them play much better but is unlikely to have as great a negative impact as moaning at them would, so it's in our own interest not to boo and moan at our own players.

Why should we have to pay £500 -£600 for a season ticket?
If the fans mean that much to the club, reduce the prices and you will see a full house at Celtic Park every week.

I renewed mine for £550 but on top of that i've got a 4 hour bus journey which costs money, alcohol, food and all the things you buy when your at the game. It all mounts up!

yep it is pretty bd it is very depressing watching us struggle against hamilton

but TBH i think this will change under the new manager cause i think we'll be able to show more agression going forward and he will teach players how to pass through teams .

so i urge every fan who can afford to . please come back to paradise and get behind the team .who knows mabye the team might just start playing better and winning like we should be . the celtic way :celt_2::shamrock:

but alot of the fans just get fed up watching the same player looking
dis-intrested playing like a schoolboy and coming out with the same old tosh every week . if we get some decent players in then all this will stop :50:

I agree that it's counter productive moaning at the players but what choice are people left with? I always try and get a good booze and a good singsong whatever is happening on the pitch but not everyone is like that. Watching the pish we've been watching * off people who spend crazy money to get here from far and wide as you pointed out earlier. No wonder they are grumbling that our millionaire players just don't * turn up against these smaller and should be weaker teams. It's very disheartening and hurts.

We should be better than we are given all our resources and money yet we look worse than average too much. If were gonna pay top dollar to watch football then we should expect to see a standard of football that the other teams struggle against. That should be the case but the club are failing us on this issue.

The fans are getting a raw deal out of it and now copping the blame for moaning or not turning up.:31::31:

Fact is Celtic Football Club have a duty to us to provide us with success. It's over to them to justify why they can charge so much.

I'm not working the now, but still doing my best to pay for the season ticket.
I cant really afford it, but i'd rather be completely skint for a wee while, than not have the season ticket. I also dont have the same responsabilities as everybody else with familys, mortgages e.t.c.. to pay for, as i'm still staying with my parents.
