I'll take your word on it as I don't have access to STV, so I'll rephrase my statement, no Celtic fan that I know wants him because he used to play for us and I certainly haven't seen comments on here stating that as a valid reason for wanting him.

I suppose he could be ok, but the fact that he got relegated due to being stubborn and not changing his tactics worries me.

It's not being able to organise his defences properly that worries me.

Any hun I have been talking to are loving the fact Mowbray will be our new manager. They are all pretty confident he doesnt have what it takes.

I would rather we went for someone who strikes fear into that lot.

They would say that about anyone though.

I'm sure Strachan and MON didn't initially either.

Was not the captin pretending to be fully fit , was not that we have 2 useless strikers and one average one , was not that some key players were out injured:rolleyes:

I thnk McDonald is a good striker...he won us games on his own some times so we have to give him credit. Also scored some good CL goals. Jan and sammy are garbage though.

We missed Robson at a crucial time imo.

Strachan should be able to tell when a player is fit or not.

best of the usual options but IMO none of them were aiming high enough. We wont get a currently employed established EPL manager due to the richness of that league so we should have focussed on Europe.

I dont know. There must be some great managers out there that havnt even been mentioned.

Even the ones who you'd think are unrealistic targets could be persuaded to come if the board go all out. We have a lot to offer, I think too many people just presume noone would want to come to the spl.

    who is Europe?

Not sure a manager will be better because he's not within the British Isles.

sad truth is pretty ruthless blunt people seem to make the most successful managers and Mowbray is not like that.

I think Levein does have that streak. Just a hunch but I think he is a hard headed realist who wouldnt care what the football looks like as long as we win. He is an outside bet and there would be a lot of whinging from fans but I think he would bring us more success than Mowbray.
