Are we missing out?

Does anyone else think that we are missing out on signing key players due to us not having a new manager in place? It's nearly 2 weeks since Strachan has left the building and still no idea as to who will be manager. I just think that if we don't get someone in shortly we are going to be missing out on some good players on the cheap. Sylvinho seemed keen on talking to Celtic before Strachan left but reports are now saying that he is set to look elsewhere. All the focus is going on looking for our new manager when we should also be bringing in some new players. I know we shouldn't rush in to appointing a new manager so we are certain we get the right man but other clubs could be getting in before us to speak to players. Talks with Janko were meant to happen last week after the season ended but that seems to have been forgotten about now Strachan's away. There will be a few clubs interested in him so again we could miss the boat! & obviously it's down to the manager to choose the players he want's to sign.

 

I wouldnt worry about it we dont often do any business at this point.
players coaching staff etc are away on holiday relaxng. I wouldnt say were missing out on anything tbh.

 

We aren't missing out on anybody, as long as there is a manager in place by the end of the transfer window where we will be scraping the barrel for the usual type of player that no other team wants.

 

We've just lost the league so i think it's a bit different from the last few seasons where the pressure wasn't on us. We should be looking for new players now or risk missing out. Just my opinion.

the thought crossed my mind aswell but now that i think about it there hasnt been that much transfer activity so far so i wouldnt say we were missing out

In a way yes i think we are missing out. As mentioned, the pressure is on this year with us not winning the league and if we do not sign up some new good players we could lose out again, particulary for europe which is only weeks away.

 

I don't think we are losing out..most managers and players are on holiday at the moment.

 

The transfer window isnt open until july so we havent missed out on anybody ?
