Billic, Mowbray or McGee?

I think now that Coyle is in the EPL, he is bound to want a shot at keeping his team up and is therefore out of our reach. Moyes is also on too much money for us to lure him to Parkhead. This leaves the inevitable domestic managers McGee and Mowbray. With Mowbrays type of football he would be most peoples' preferred option. However with Billic now in the frame, due to his agents plea surely this must make him the fans' preferred man. As well as wondering who you want in charge can you please say who you think the board will appoint. I think Billic is the man for us but Mowbray will be appointed. What's your opinion?

This is such a shame! Its quite obvious from the other thread that the Celtic fans want Bilic, however this thread shows that we all can't see them choosing him! Bilic wants the job! I just wish the board would come on this website and choose a manager the majority of the fans would be fully behind!

At the end of the day, the supporters are the club and the majority of the fans did not support WGS! I liked him however i think Bilic would be a more likeable choice from the fans point of view, and i beleive the board shoud look at this!

I agree with you, that was the point in this thread. To prove that Bilic is the preferred man but its likely to be Mowbray or McGee sitting in the dugout.

He is getting it from the Daily Mail. Does Bilic really want the job though or is his agents speaking on his behalf. After all the message did not come from Bilic himself.

Bilic was just on Setanta saying he thinks he could take Celtic to a Champions League semi final/final. Thats the level of ambition we need.

 

My point is that even the Daily Mail article doesn't say that Bilic wants the job.

It doesn't even say that Rudi says Bilic wants the job.

It basically just says that Rudi says Bilic would consider talking to us.

And suddenly everyone and their granny are on here going on about how the board will have sold us out if we don't get Bilic.

If anyone's interested in reality, Bilic is currently trading at 14/1, Mowbray at between six and seven to one, Owen Coyle odds-on.

 

The fans should get completely behind whoever is in charge is that not what supporting your team is all about.

Appointment should be made on who is the best man for the job, not who is liked the most by the fans.

 

Bilic in a heartbeat, he is the best man for the job and has proven he can work without a large transfer kitty.

 

how has he done this he has zero club experience to test that theory out, no doubting he's a good manager just we don't know if he can work within tight budgets as he's never been tested in that way.
