I will not support Mowbray. Not him, not McGhee. Not big enough, not good enough. He's just another man who'll spend little. I want grand Celtic.

 

Exactly, I'll support whoever we get and I think there is more chance of us getting Mowbray than most of the guys from the continent that have been mentioned.

The Celtic fans are desperate to see the return of exciting football and Mowbray is probably the best option available to the club.

If he can get the defense organised then he would be an amazing manager for us.

 

I love how many on here think Celtic have not only the cash for a big name manager, but the cash for a hefty transfer kitty that a big name manager will demand as part of the deal.

Lets get real people, the likes of Tony Mowbray, no offence to his ability, but this is our level. We are not a big player financially.
I believe that he would be good for Celtic, he's not all about the money, and I think he can take Celtic back to the top next season (if he is offered the job)

His defense was the worst in EPL. The goalie and 2 CB-s were awful.

at that time kieran i wanted guus hiddink! and that almost happend! when mon came i was very happy with that as i knew he would do well and had something about him! with mogga i dont feel like that tbh mate.

the epl could attract the king of spain mate with all the money they get from sky ffs! thats how that league is where they are today. FACT!

we are in a so called * league! and the reason for that is we have asswipes stuck in the medieval times and will not change the full set up of the scottish game! if they wer to do this ? then perhaps we would get better financial backing with sponsorship deals,and to make that happen ? you need to have a product that sells!
we dont have that yet unless the sfa get their finger out and make the spl bigger,re-vamp the other leagues below have a play off final similer to the english. put it this way they need to make scottish football exciteing for all fans.

nothing they can do will change the fact that stadiums wont fill. it must be somehting like 90% of football fans in scotland support either Celtic or Rangers. Its not like in england where they all support the local team no matter what division they are in

scottish football has been in decline since the late 80's and it wont get any better

that is peoples own choice mate ! and also its up to the other teams to do something about it themselves instead of living of celtic and hungers scrapps!

 

It could get worse, with Mowbray. If he can't have a stable defense, he's doomed before the start.
