If Strachan was to go!

I was just meaning if he was to go who should take over, but there is always someone that can do a job better no matter how good you think you are!!

 

The yellow Teletubbie would do a better job.

 

Owen Coyle - his team play some sexy stuff,2nd best stuff behind Swansea, but looks like they will be in the premiership next year.

Realistictly we would be after Levein, Coppel or someone of that calibre.

 

I was backing him but I'm begining to think maybe one of the managers mentioned would be better for us now!!

I would always have respect for what WGS has achieved but the Hoops are getting really boring to watch under him and if you add that to losing the league it looks bleak.

I wouldn't mind Mowbray, Coyle or Levein as his replacement if it means we may start bringing in some talent and playing some exciting stuff.

At the moment we just aren't good enough.

 

Personally i think he should go because things have got really stale after four years, with very little to spend complacency is obviously going to set in.
Fergie and Wenger can stay at the same club for so long because they have the funds to freshen things up and get rid of any deadwood where as wgs doesnt have that luxury,

Also i think he's extremely poor tacticlly and has cost us points with his poor decisions, even walter gets the better of him in the old firm games and he's hardly a genius, ultimately though the board let wgs down we need fresh thinking and new ideas and knowing the board there not going to bring in the quality to freshen things up, so the easiest option is a new manager

 

I'll be secretly hoping they dont win the play-off final

 

Moyes, Bilic or someone of that ilk.
Why not aim high? Why should it be unrealistic for Celtic to get a top manager?
Are our expectations so low that we should be happy with someone like Levein?
Strachan has to go though - the team is predictable, unadventurous, boring and simply not very good.

 

The bottom line is m8 if we go for someone high profile then we may need to spend big and I don't think the club can afford to do that. It would be much better to bring in a guy who can work within a budget and still deliver.

Yeah hes got Swansea playing the best stuff in the championship, yet a dont know about him at Celtic tbh.

 

Because he's an arrogant wee * who has choked the * life out of football with his mundane, slow, lethargic long ball approach, brought us down to everyone else's level and cares more for the "neutral punter" on Setanta than those who actually contribute to his wages.

And he should go even if it is 4 / 4. Being so far ahead of the Huns and allowing them even a sniff of this league is a disaster so bad and I don't think you've quite grasped the severity of it all to be honest.

I believe he'd do a good job,,wgs only had one decent managerial campaign before he came to us,,as you say his team play good football the kinda football we crave at celtic park..

 

Boring thread again. At the end of the day, there is no-one better than the man we have. A new board is the way forward.

 

Aye lets sack the gaffer! Get somebody in for a season, if we lose the league get him punted & find somebody else. Here's a crackin idea!, why don't we just put a poll up every weekend & the fans pick the team & who we sign, then if we * up then there is no * to blame but us!
