Why have these guys not been fired by now?

No one is going to tell me that with Celtics budget there are no left backs, no DECENT midfielders or strikers that would be willing to play for a massive club like ours. Why are we not scouring the globe for the next Larsson, or Moravcik. The "one in a million" excuse just doesnt cut it, these players are out there we just spend too much time looking in our own league and the Championship for them. If we buy all our players from a team like Hibs then we become a team like Hibs, and while that might suit the bank manager it shows a complete disrespect to the loyal fans who plough so much money into the club.

We are in a great position financially, but you have to speculate to accumulate, and now MUST be the time to do it, win or lose the league. No doubt though come September Naylor will still be the starting LB, and we'll have a few more Willo Floods, and maybe another Niall McGinn. It will be the same old tired excuses (lies) about "not being able to compete financially with the EPL" or if we lose the league "not being able to attract the players".

In my opinion it's time for a complete clear out, top to bottom. I'm tired of Lawell's lies and spin, I'm sick of Strachans complete disrespect and arrogance towards the fans (who actually give a * about the team), and I'm fed up with our scouts who apparently wouldn't know a football player if it slapped them in the mouth.

Board won't give money for big-name signings, so they look for talents around the region.

it all comes down to money i dot think are scouting system etc is doing that board is all about the lack of backing from the borad money wise
well thats how i see it.
i believe if we get a new manager in they might throw money at him to bu and change the team which would be a very good thing lets hope if we have a new manager he is a very capable one

Didn't say big name signings, I said good players. There is a difference (remember Gravesen, Juninho etc).

Thats what I was getting at. When we signed Larsson and Moravcik they were already great players. Not every good player is at a big club and costs a fortune.

Fair enough. But still, it's hard to make a difference in playing staff unless you aren't supported by the board financially.

We've been let down by everyone at the club, from the boardroom to the players on the park. Nobody should be holding their heads up today.

I'm now convinced Strachan does his scouting on Setanta.

That's nonsense. Our team is the worst it's been in years, and has been for a long time. The fact that Rangers are also in a bad way currently is just lucky for us. We have won the title three times, beating a Rangers team known as being one of the worst ever. These wins have papered over the cracks, leading us to actually believe we are a good team. Hopefully this cloud will have a silver lining and the board/Strachan will see the error of their ways, but I doubt it.

It makes absolutely no difference if we were 7 points clear. We aren't 7 clear when it matters.

It clearly does to the folk that are slating the scouting network.

It is fairly clear that people are lookng for scapegoats, I bet the tea lady isn't up to scratch as well.
