I agree he's got the potential to be big but do you think he would fit straight into our starting XI? I think that we should go for him but give him and Hamilton the option for him to stay a season on loan with us paying his wages and with the clause that he wouldn't play us, I think if we did that we would be able to cut his price down a bit and give him the a chance to improve further so next season he's straight into the team. What does everyone think of that

I I'd be happy just to see Naka replaced with some1 of the same pedigree. Not too worried about the strikers because although he frustrated the * out of me last season i can see Sammy banging the goals in like he did be4 he was injured with a new manager at the helm. Oh and also a decent LB

For our LB problem I'd take Petkovic, the montonegrian U 21 LB. Seen him the other nite and had alot of dig. Not scared to put the boot in.
Midfield, not too sure. Would like Driver but still need an attacking/creative midfielder.
And again, not sure about a striker. But there must be plenty out there who no-one has heard of that are class.
Other than that, it's about time the reserve lads got a shout. They've been here long enough and the're not kids anymore i.e. Hutchy, McCourt, Mizuno.

I think that makes the most sense. Its a way of getting a player for the future, but keep him developing in a place that has done him well so far. Put a clause in allowing us to take him back at January and then if we need him we've got him.

Fair play. But one little incident. Still think he's a crackin player (as long as he can keep his elbows to himself)

Was just having a think to myself there, did anyone see that Manucho guy playing for Hull last season? I reckn if they've bought Fortune and Campbell then Manucho must be a no-go. Was wondering folks opinion on him, I didn't see enough. Could be a cheeky loan option?

CM McCarthy as someone says maybe loan him back to the accies
AM Sharbini/Shikabala neither look like signin but someone like this would be great
FC Lewandowski/Janko, Janko would molest the spl lets be honest its a muck league, laughable really, only 2 clubs have won it since fergie won it with the deen, an only fergie could , hate the old fart though

    TG's Summer shopping list

Left back - Asier Del Horno
    Age - 28
    Height - 6'0
Club - cash strapped Valencia (been on loan to Athletico Bilbao)

    Central Midfield - Michael Johnson
    Age - 21
    Height - 6'0
    Club - Man City

    Naka replacement - Yassine Chikhaoui
    Age - 22
    Height - 6'2.5"
    Club - FC Zurich

    Striker - Felipe Caicedo
    Age - 20
    Height - 6'1"
    Club - Man City

    Striker - Tibor Tisza
    Age - 24
    Height - 5'9"
Club - Ujpest FC (Willie McStay's new team)

With the exception of Tisza, these guys are all six foot or taller, which would bring much needed height to our squad. To get all of them (presuming they would come) we'd need to sell to raise funds, so goodbye to Mark Brown, Scott Brown, Donati, Killen, Flood, Naylor, Kennedy & McManus

no dude, not played champ man since i was like 15 or so, as i said earlier, the miss's is polish, an i head over with her to see her folkes maybe 3 or 4 times a year, been there close to 20 times only seen this guy play in the flesh 3 times but in them 3 games he scored 5 goals, some crackers, great in the air, good first touch for a guy whos head is so far away from his feet and the opposition were at least as good as any spl side, apart from the old firm, and tbh theres not a lot between them, the quality of ball in poland is better than the spl, no joke.

Awryt sorry :50: he's a legend in FM 09 thats why a thought . But i've seen him play a few times for Poland and thought he was great in the air aswell as great with the ball at his feet. He's at a great age aswell.

yeah he be good for us, expensive for the kiddies to get his name on their shirt though, i doubt any kids be broad shouldered enough to wear his name across their backs anyway.
