I wouldn't mind seeing this one go through.

 

Really hope this happens.think he would be a terrific buy for us,and i dont see him just wasting away on the bench and in the reserves.honestly think he could get into the first team and stay there.

 

good young player but slightly overhyped.

he is no better than mizuno , ferry etc

 

Can't go wrong for the price we'll have to pay + he'll be playing for the badge.

 

I have always said I would rather have McCarthur but McCarthy, although over-hyped, is a great young player.

Wether we should pay over the odds for him I don't know but its good to see Celtic may be willing to take a gamble on him.

 

McCarthy is what we need as well, he get forward when he can so if scott brown was out like last 2 games he would sub in easily as he drives forward, doesnt sit back, i also think brown and him can play together and link up well, As long as he builds himself up a bit, spend a bit of tim ein the gym and works with the coaches at celtic, he could be great

 

I really hop this deal gos through to be honest, hes a great young player that likes to attack, he will be playing his heart for the badge hes a celtic fan and also hes only young and is still learning, if hes this good just now imagine what he will be like in 5 years time

 

i actually know this guy. he went to st maries and used to play football in castlemilk and simshill. even seen him going into the spar off aikenhead road in the morning to get a paper sometimes. hes a massive celtic fan, dont think he would want to go anywhere else even if he got offered 100k per week or something ridiculous like that. hes also a great player, especially considering his age. ideally i would like to either see him put straight into the team beside brown or loaned back to accies for a year. a midfield of mcgeady (on the right once naka leaves), brown, mccarthy and robson would be great. especially with owen and mcdonald up front

 

better than hartley. nuff said

 

well i would love to see him in the hoops :icon_mrgreen: and its all the young lad wants himself is to wear the green and white hoops. with hartley gettin on this could just freshing things up

The papers over here todat indicated that we are going to up our offer to 1million - 1.5 million, hope we do to be honest, especially with Naka leaving

 

This kid is very talented, no doubts there. But he is still very young and will have dips in form that will not fly at Celtic. The demands are so much greater here than somewhere like Hamilton where there is virtually no pressure.

I can't help get the feeling that his Celtic leanings and obvious love of the club are blinding us to the reality of the situation. If this kid wasn't a Celtic fan there wouldn't be the same clamour to get him into our team as soon as possible.

He should stay at Hamilton for another season at least.
