    Just saw this on BBC Sport. Don't know what to make of it. Probably has loads of potential but he's definitely overrated. McCarthur has looked better this year IMO.

    Would be a good signing. Originally i'd agree about loaning him back to ensure he gets plenty of first team experience but if we get rid of Hartley and Donati, plus Robson seems to have quite a lot of injury problems then suddenly we don't have so many central options.

    When have we ever had an offer accepted straight off? We must want him badly if we are in for him before the end of the season though. I wonder if this is WGS or Parks at work?

    So? Professional managers have disagreed with the majority of the country in thinking Kirk Broadfoot is absolutely *. What's your point?

    I'd sign him for the future because like I say, he has potential. But as it stands, McCarthur is the better player, for me.

    I'd sign him, even if you have to match 10k a week.

    I think it's safe to say if he doesn't amount to anything it would be a bit of a head scratcher given the amount he is rated within the game.

    signing this bhoy would brightin' up my summer. think he'd be great in 2 to 3 years, and big profit to be made if he's half as good as they say. i think he could be our best player in 2-3 years if mcgeadfy boruc and brown leave which in the next 3 years is very possible. i have around 60 quid to throw towards it if peter lawell is reading this, its yours towards james peter.

    These SPL transfers are ALWAYS long and protracted because Celtic (rightfully so) are being as tight-arsed as possible.

    Caldwell, S.Brown, S.Fletcher at Xmas to name but 3 domestic transferred that dragged on and on ...
