Its obvious to say i would love a Larsson or a Lubo type player, but i would absolutely LOVE another Mjallby to come along. He was one of my favourite central defenders for Celtic, him and Stubbsy.

 

Are you GS in didsguise :icon_mrgreen: Wilo Flood was touted as the next best thing ,so we buy him ,i didnt say he was the best ,he was touted around so celtic snapped up one of the best young players around scotland ,problem with that ? if celtic never went for him and he joined der huns and scored against GS would have got it in the neck ,no win situation .

I do agree with you regarding Caddis ,Mizuno etc ,where are they i was gutted when young Caddis went on loan to Utd ,and Celtic reserves are doing wonders but there not giving the chance in the first team ,todays game ,i would loved to have seen Mc Court on show but for whatever reason it never happened.

conorbhoy, i get what your sayin but does it not say something when bobo has asked for a pay as you play contract, and the reason he never signed for middlesbourgh or sunderland is because celtic wanted him to sig a confidentiality contract to stop him going to the media about what has went on behind the scenes with him.
watch any classic celtic game on celtic tv or videos from when bobo played he was solid at the back a natural winner. he fell for celtic and the support and his family are happy here hes came out plenty of times to say all he wants to do is play for celtic again.
i wouold feel sorry for him if it wasnt for the amount he gets paid but i do feel he has been very hard done by, by celtic.
they didnt want to pay his wages but graveson and roy keane werent a problem? confusing?

Bottom line to this is ,the manager never fancied him and made it clear when he bought others ,shoving bobo down the pecking order ,,now if i was bobo i would take the hint that i wasnt wanted here ,he must be at least 6th in line ,after 3 seasons of this ,when does the penny drop that your not wanted ,batter in ,you know the answers .

 

I think a lot of people, including myself, are just sick of the way WGS is running our club mate, dire performance after dire performance, zonal marking costing us time and time again without any changes, shocking signings along the way. Why buy Willo Flood at all? We had the chance to get a decent striker in in January when our strikers couldn't get a goal for dust yet not a penny was spent, I suppose you can blame the board but being 7 points ahead at the start of this year and now being 2 behind the blame has to be firmly with the manager, he simply has to go.

Not at all, we've been brutal all season, absolutely brutal !!

 

I'm behind the team mate, i've been alot more positive on here today than most but i really think its time for a change, even if we do win 4 in a row. Our quality of football has been declining for a while now and i think its time it was freshened up.
I like Strachan but dont think he's capable of taking us a step further.

and i dont get your contradicting about mcgeady?? no hes not a strachan favourite and as soon as maloney is fit you see that. the only reaosn mcgeady gets a game is cos hes a fans favourite. maloney gets fit and last week subs macgeady on * maloney this week DROPPED in * maloney. mcgeady loves the big games why drop our best player against our rivals? and maloney i like, but hes never a left winger!
open your eyes and see GS has done his bit and he needs to go, and thats even if we win the league! because we should have this wrapped up! its a discgrace its came this far against that pish!
if we keep buyin from the other scottish team we will end up as bad as them we need to bring through the youth an prowl the world for good signings. remember di canio was a milan reserve, van hoojdonk came from NAC breda, surely we can attract this type of player again, but strachan has came from managing lower english teams and his ambitions doesnt match up with ours.

i agree about the signings, thats the 1 thing i dont like. im sick of the "squad players" and youngsters. as for wgs running the club. WGS will never win over his critics but if people look at the bigger picture and see what hes done for the club..regular in champions league. 3 in a row. hes got to be doing something right...
