Multiple crosses, multiple * deliveries. Gets praised off of people who think taking a free kick makes him a *. Shocking stuff, I was happier to see Harlety swing one in and that says a lot.

The thing is, McDonald can't play great every game. He looked a bit jaded today actually. I'm not a fan of these big strikers with very little football in them. Sutton was the exception to that. He would win foul after foul where as Hesslink does the opposite.

I'm not big on Samaras but at least he's capable of making things happen with the ball at his feet. He's very hit or miss though.

Hartley is another who we have to replace in the summer. I thought Flood was signed as cover for Scott Brown tbh. I think if we had Brown instead we wouldn't have lost the game.

Isn't the ability to keep possession praise worthy? The most composed player in the team.

Folk like you obviously don't know football if you think Naka gets praised for being a good free-kick taker.

Technically, he's a brilliant footballer. Obviously he doesn't score tap-in's from 4 yards out, therefore he isn't the next Henrik Larsson, but he's still a quality player.

Holding possesion is all good but when does it occur to you that a player of his 'skill' should able to deliver a half decent cross out of more than a dozen in the biggest league game of the season so far?

See this is my point. Everyone criticising him are saying his set-pieces were shocking. He's not in the * team just for set-pieces.

He kept possession today, what the team do after he gives them the ball isn't his fault.

His set-pieces were poor aye, but he still created our only real chance in the game.

I agree, he is an exceptional player although i thought he lost some sloppy balls but overall he is a magician with the ball and rarely gives it away!

    Hope he doesn't leave! :celt_2:

our only 3 outfield players today were caldwell, mcdonald and NAKA. the rest didn't deserve to wear the shirt.

Don't want to be the one to tell you but its quite clear that a large large part of the reason why he is always kept on is for set pieces. A Naka free-kick with 5 minutes to go etc.

He kept possesion today? Have we to be greatful? FFS people say he is the most gifted they have seen, our one of the most, yet he can't find it in himself to pick out a few deadly passes? Given the fact he is so gifted.

He is a luxury player and always has been. When push comes to shove he is on the park for a set piece, mainly a free kick, which in general were shocking today.

Defend him if you want, he may be you favourite player, but he was awful.

Naka put in a good shift today, and had a bit more heart than usual, however his final ball was terrible and most of the time he had to go back the way with his passing, which in being honest isnt his fault its because the forward lines movement is terrible.

Thought Naka produced a mighty shift of keeping possession, passing and also some really good defending. He has really toughened up this year and he is easily the most talented player in the SPL, nobody is near him. I have noticed the crossing problem. A slippery pitch or a short/dodgy corner flag area really puts him off. I think his shooting is based on ideal conditions and that is also why he is not that great at shooting in open play. When he goes we will be very lucky to replace him with an equal. We certainly couldnt afford to do it on the open market and either need to spot someone ealry or just bring Koki or McCourt in. Naka is a one-off and IMO its not fair how much adulation Lubo gets in comparison because Naka has done a lot more for us now.

Naka was great as usual, i think he missed his old mate aiden on the other side , we were the better team today , really why we lost im not sure ,we should have went at them from the start, but giving Aiden a half an hour ,what u at Strachan.

Why? Because you will defend him to the ends of the earth because he is you favourite player? Your completely biased towards your opinion of him and believe me I would rather he had had a blinder but it was not the case again.
