Boruc saved our blushes! Crosas put a clear shot over! They weren't the worst i've seen. IT'S NOT OVER, DON'T GIVE UP.

lads, we were *, ok. but theres still 3 games left! all we need to do is this:

win our last three games, and hope that rangers draw just one game.

Feel free to report it. It is a simple statement of fact.

You have told people in this thread that they know nothing about football because they don't agree with your fantastical analysis of the game when in reality you contradict yourself. You say it was the best performance since Tommy Burns days and cite our possession as evidence. You then say Rangers are ultra defensive. Surely you realise that them being ultra defensive will give us the lion share of possession ?! In short their game plan worked and we were totally ineffective in breaking it down.

Maloney may well be a cleverer player than McGeady but it was a mistake to start him ahead of McGeady given his lack of fitness, it didn't work !

What a nice pleasant day at work i had! Two * minutes before i leave i find out a man nowhere near match fit after a 6 month absence and a shadow of the player people remember him as gets the nod ahead of the best player in the * country. Absolutely incredible.

And don't give me the 'Shaun has better end product' guff it's getting * boring, and whether he has or not is completely irrelevant. McGeady has been * hot all year and Maloney has been * wrapped in cotton wool, it doesn't take a 'genius' (don't make me laugh) to figure out who should be on the park. Can't for the life of me understand this decision honest to *.

Then after the game the manager does his usual talking down to the fans, coz that's who he's speaking to THROUGH the media, as if we are all * worthless pieces of *. Am totally sick of it.

Am pure disgusted about this whole situation, how can a team capable of turning in a 12 game winning streak and can play some fantastic football turn out to be so bad at what they're being paid thousands upon thousands to do? If we win the league from here it will be more of a miracle than last season because back then we were capable of winning games when we really needed to. This year we have been as consistent as a bottom 6 team.

I don't know about anyone else but there's no way on *'s green earth am goanny just sit here and give it 'oh we need to be positive Strachan will get it right he's won us 3 last 16 blah blah * blah. The club are in decline and am disgusted at the way it's going, in the black or not.

Absolute pish !!! I find that one really hard to take and it looks like we've blown it.

For all our possession, we did not ever look like scoring tbh. McGeady should have started imo, Maloney has been injured for months and then WGS puts him into a massive game like this :31: Crosas was very poor.

And then when we have the huns on the back foot in the last minutes and looking for the equaliser, WGS brings on Lee * Naylor. * IS THE POINT IN THAT ? :31:

Sorry to say but we've blown it folks, a * disgrace :47:

Ah well. You win some, you lose some. We all know how * we have been under Strachan and it was about time we lost a title - we shouldn't be accepting this kind of mediocrity week in, week out. Celtic are playing at 50%, at most, of their potential, and considering the overall position of both us and Rangers, it's going to be a * travesty when they win the League.

Maloney should never have started at the expense of McGeady, but he was far from what the real problem that was out there today: a severe lack of hunger. They wanted it more. They won every second ball. And ultimately, I think they deserved the win. We were just plain average. The centre of the midfield didn't deliver - Crosas in particular, who looked completely out of his depth - while Nakamura once again went missing when the chips were down. Jan and Samaras are just two plain average strikers who were never going to get any change today. I could go through every player, but as a team were just weren't good enough.

Well done to them, but my word we've got * problems that need sorting out. The title should have been wrapped up before today. Now we're going to lose it. They have the momentum. All important, as was proven last year.

Cmon lads!this league aint over yet!!The year we had Bellamy we were better off at the same stage and the dicks done us..last season we did them at the end. This is not over by a long long way..Although today was shameful. After they scored we had 3 shots!!3!For a team chasing to retain their title..not good enough.Naka was outstanding..had a great game. The 2 up front did well and Hinkel and the 2 CB's were very very good.Till my dying day i will never understand why a unfit little winger who hasent did much since returning was picked over a winger who would have ran rings around Dailly.baffling..but he took a gamble and it didnt pay off..just regroup now get ready for tuesday and please play Aiden!

    Gutted

Cant ever remember having so much of the game at the shithole but really we coulda played all night and not scored.

Naka, Caldwell and SkIppy were magnificent for me. Seriously, did Naka put a foot wrong all day?

Cannot understand dropping Aiden at all. Made no sense Gordon, and you know it.

Dont think all is lost guys, we still have a better goal difference and just need them to draw one game and we have 2 home games to come.

    Keep the heads up ..

    HAIL HAL!!

His delivery of the ball was atrocious, so wasteful it was untrue.

You say that as if he scored a 35 yard scorcher and set up 2 goals or something mate. Because he does a few nice touches when he's in space doesn't mean he had a good game, it does deceive people though, but for the things that really mattered, mainly his set-peices, were Sunday League standard.

correct easy choice mcgeady every single time. maloney is to small, is to weak isnt as quick, is entirely predictable . dont agree that maloney is a better passer and crosser( he had at least 6 today that wernt dangerous and maybe 1 that was) and most sinfully he was against dailly today he didnt get past him once. mcgeady always gets doubled up on by the opposition which creates space for others. they do not need to do that with maloney. who would you rather defend against. mcgeady has the ability to have anyone on toast people forget he is still young and young players are always inconsistent. maloney is as good as he will ever be which aint as good as mcgeady is now

nonsense it was a cut back which boruc could do nothing about. if maloney had tracked back and kept the right side of his man then the goal would have been avoided

what match were you watchin . he had lots of possesion and chances to cross from corners and free kicks and he didnt cause them any problems at all. just because he can control the ball and make a pass when no one is near him doesnt make it a mom performance

    Ratings today.

Boruc -7 Thought he did well and kept us in the game closing down Boyd. Didn't have much else to do though.

Hinkel - 7 Looked one of our best players today and put in a great cross in the 2nd half.

O'Dea - 4 Fish out of water at Left Back. WGS played him for his height but offers next to nothing going forward and cannot pass the ball at all.

Caldwell - 7 I was very impressed with him today and should have been captain.

Loovens -6 I thought he looked pretty slow and let Boyd in for his chance in the 2nd half. I don't feel that he throws himself in enough like McManus does in the big games.

Crosas - 5 Terrible start to the game and didn't really improve much.

Hartley - 5 The early booking ruined his performance today. He's normally got a bit of dig in the OF games and of course had to watch himself. Miller got him booked for looking dramatic in that challenge.

Maloney - 6 Looked dangerous early on and set McDonald up who was more concerned about winning a penalty which isn't going to happen at Ipox. Put in a couple of great in swinging crosses in the 2nd half before being replaced.

Nakamura - 8 Was our best player and the reason Rangers couldn't get the ball for long spells. Great ball control and composure all day. Set pieces have been better bar the great corner which Hesselink almost scored from.

VoH - 5 Never expect much from him anyway and got 2 headers on target in which he was unlucky with. He didn't offer the team much though as he is so stationary and easy to mark.

McDonald - 5 Not one of his better games. Never really threatened and Bougherra had the beating of him today.

McGeady - I wouldn't blame him for his chance although he should have worked the keeper. After all, he got into the position himself after some good work. Apart from that was his usual self at Ipox getting knocked off the ball easily and creating very little.

Samaras - Looked better than the player he replaced as in winning a couple of corners. I always prefer the way the team plays when he's in it but only got 20 minutes.

Naylor - I would have brought Robson on for O'Dea. Wasn't on that long anyway but managed to get himself booked.

Well what can I say really disappointed with yesterday's result think we missed Broony big time also I don't understand why did Strachan pick Maloney over McGeady he has hardly had any competitive games and not that long back from injury plus the fact that McGeady has been playing great as of late really has me baffled.

Still 3 games left we have been here before last season it's not over till it's over Keep the Faith.
