if you watched that move you would have seen that mcgeady won the ball at the edge of our box ran 50 yards before feedin the ball ot wide to hinkel then made space in the box to get a shot off . who else in the team can say they did that today.
bottom line is mcgeady should have started instead of someone who has played 1 match in 4 months. well done strachan

im sorry ,normally im pro everything celtic but today im gutted, the huns are * but they have reasons why they are *, no money nearly bankrupt, we are worse than * just now and we had money to spend. albeit either the board or stachan didnt want to spend it. we have allowed a very very poor rangers team to probably take the league from us.
we were in a position to fk them financially for years to come yet the £15 champions league kitty will help them back up. we missed a glorious oppurtunity to cripple our nearest rivals. minty moonbeams wouldnt have ,he would have went for the jugular and before anyone states thats the reason why the huns are in the dificulty they are it wouldnt have taken agreat deal of money to greatly enhance our first team(not squad)
im gutted tonight, one for losing the league,i cant see the huns dropping points now won 7 in a row same as us last year, and for allowing the some glimmer of hope as far as money is concerned.
celtic you have let us down.

i think the most annoying thing for everyone on here is that if we spent some half decent money we would be well clear but for me we the supporters we let lawell get away with it to easy why at agms do we not ask why we,re not spending :31::31:

Last day loses to bad Rangers sides are not a WGS thing as yet but it did happen twice under MON. Dont remember the manager getting it anywhere near as tight as WGS is now.

If you take the long view, footbal is not always fair and the best team doesnt always win. Unforseen things like losing 2 or our 3 strikers for a chunk of the season and the same 2 international strikers having long goal droughts are things you cant predict. Nor was Arturs utter madness in goals at times - that cost us points. Nor losing very useful likely first choice players like Maloney and Robson for most of the season. Last season all our FBs got injured and we didnt look decent until that problem cleared up and Caldwell was back at CH.

    * just happens and it can wear a team down. We were a bit lucky last year and we may or may not be a bit unlucky this year. I for one think the team is better than last years while Rangers are worse but logic doesnt always apply. People also keep saying this is a really bad Rangers side but its an effective but ugly one. They were the first Rangers side to make a European final in about 35 years. They had to win or draw an awful lot of games against very good sides to do that so it was no fluke, it was a triumph of negative cynical football and all the scalps they took also found it impossible to counter.

Im not even surprised we lost today, we have had shocking consistency all season. All those "silly" points lose during the course of the season arent looking very "silly" anymore.

TBH i can stand losing the league but the fact that we aint going to get into europe either and gift those wanks 10-15million is a disgrace, this league should have been wrapped up long ago Gordon!!

Infact a decent side would have but we all know deep down that this current squad have been living a lie, even if somehow we manage to win it we still dont deserve it... the same can be said for last year.

To many fans had us destined to win 4IAR, look where over confidence gets you.

In the transfer window we need
a big striker up front with skippy
a winger as naka is leaving
    a lb , i like o'dea but he's out of position
what we will get however is prop some young guy that wont play for years but shows "promis"

Looks like the team spent the week sunbathing in Spain rather than training. STRACHAN OUT , and take Reid, and Lawell, with him. We're clutching at straws now - they have managed to help save and secure the financial future of Rangers - well done guys!!!!! This team is a joke and has been getting worse all season, everyone can see that.

The abuse WGS is getting for playing Maloney is a joke. He put in some really good deliveries today which should and could have lead to a goal or two.

McGeady isn't what the fans think he is. You've got to remember that he's never had a good game at Greyskull and was poor against Aberdeen last week.

However, I can't forgive WGS for persisting with Hesselink. Davie Weir was the real winner today as he's the only player that he can match for pace. Surely that's his last game for Celtic.

It tells me we tried to play football against a fluke goal against the run of play but they played with 10 men behind the ball which even great teams find very hard to break down. Agreed we could not penetrate the wall of men but its very very difficult. I watched and I could not see what more they could have done to break the wall down other than go long ball which wouldnt have worked. We do not have the sort of blistering pace that can sometimes help. We have the best wide players in the league but there were simply too many men forming a baracade. They won the only way they could-a break away goal followed by defending like at the Alamo.
