The problem is, i've had mine since 2000 & if we do go into the EPL & the price goes up i might not be able to afford one.

Prices will remain around the same level but Euro qualifiers will be included along with early round cup games.

Price remains the same but you're getting more bang for your buck as it were.

Don't know what the prices will be but I do know people will complain regardless. Like they always do.

You think someone giving up their season ticket because it is too expensive after potentially one of our most successful seasons in our history is a glory hunter?

You can mate. Just had a look at mine which is £429 but apparently if I was a student it would be £349 so that is how much it saves you.

Mines cheap because it is restricted view so yours will probably be a bit more than that.

you'll either be in the 13-16 bracket or 17-18 bracked depending on when your birthday is.

    13-16 is around £180 and 17-18 is around £230.

I'll definently be renewing next season. Hope otheres will too, the club listened to the fans by voting sevco out of the spl, it's time to repay the favour and turn out to back the team.

Oh aye you are quite right. My bad. I just looked at the student bit and completely missed the 16-18 bit.

    Sorry Conor.

I'm currently on a student ticket, £509 instead of £609. When I was 18 my ticket was about £200, so for being a year older and no better off, they've almost trebled the price of my ticket, ridiculous, and that is why we're getting the attendance we are.

They'll remain around the same and you'll get home cup games and CL qualifiers added on to it.

Anyone who believes prices will be slashed dramatically is kidding themselves on.

You'll get more bang for your buck.

    I agree.
We have an extra round of qualifiers next season so will likely get one free at least. Im not even sure about all the cup games - maybe the first home game of each cup.

More than likely they will freeze prices and market that as doing the fans a favour

    Let the people sing,
I totally expect them to just these things that have been mentioned, but i hope just for the sake of the size of the home support they make some sort of effort in cutting prices.

Bottomline for the money-men at the club, the situation they are faced with is that there is around 10k+ ST holders, who are not coming to the games(not to mention a further 10k+ seats lying empty every game). Hit these people with a price freeze and they just won't renew! So instead of having a 35K average attendance but with 45k ST holders, there'll soon be just over 30K ST holders, and the rest'll turn up when they feel like seeing a CL game.

The pricing was done terribly wrong last year because the oldco were eliminated from the scene fairly late on and the pricing structure had already been released. They have had a full year to realise they are robbing the fans more than usual, and that continuing to do so does not bode well for the club. This job lies partially with Lawwell in my opinion. He should be doing more to call to the supporters and rallying them to getting used to following the team on a weekly basis, but not in the usual money-grabbing way, but by having some better PR and some form of price drop to stop pricing fans out. (Despite being a * lunatic, Charles Green has managed this pretty well.)

Sticking to the current price structure and letting the everyday club support slide to a much lower figure than usual and just putting that down to a lack of competition and that they will bounce back is a horrible idea. I fear they will stay stubborn to the idea and by the time Sevco are being introduced to the top-flight our support will remain as a shrunk figure, all because those who left would've became used to the extra £500/600 a year and free Saturdays. Yet theirs will still be the normal figure. This cannot be allowed to happen, next to police harassment and personal safety of going to game this is the next cause worthy of a protest to an extent - this club can't be allowed to change like that.

A price freeze should be met with some serious fan pressure in my opinion. We know we struggle income wise compared to bigger leagues, but that should not be papped onto the punters to deal with. We have done it for so long, but now with even less competition and value for money the patience of many has grown very thin.

A freeze it could be argued is basically a reduction taking inflation into account, but not nearly enough to make people buy one that don't already.

For more people to actually get one you'd need to drop it by more than 10% which isn't going to happen.

I agree with the above that we'll get more bang for our buck, but there needs to be some initiative to get people through the door. I'd rather it wasn't all kids because it doesn't increase the atmosphere but if it was that or nothing I would be happy enough to see free tickets given out
